Just love the ramcharan intro scene in rrr, when he was introduced as lord Rama. The lights from behind were just amazing, and i still don't know how they made it look so divine... With raamam Raghavam playing in background and a burning arrow in his hand. It just left me amazed....

I remembered a shot in Bahubali 2, when Bahubali saved Katappa and a big structure made of hays blasted... It was LIT And another frame, after getting stabbed by Kattappa, Bahubali was sitting like a king and in background there was flames... That shot was completely superb and everyone of us tried to sit like that at least once I guess.

I think the fire in that scene of Baahubali 2 was practical and that is the reason the scenes feels so great. Baahubali is overlooked for it’s SFX and RRR follows the same SFX with lot of practical effects 🙏

Working mostly on Hollywood projects, your shot will not be approved if there is no Black point match i.e. the Levels you talked about. Mostly in QC the supervisor will check the Luminance of the green screen footage and the background image/plate that we are using, or if any CG render is being used. Also they will check the grains and black level of the shot, just to make sure everything is blending well. Secondly for green screen shots the edges should be blended well. So in short to get any kind of shot approved, all notes are important to hit. Even if there is a deadline that's the basics of compositing. And for this trailer it seems like a lot of stuff is downloaded from youtube and just pasted on top, maybe some fresher or junior did the work! Looks really bad! For explosion on behind you can do a green screen shot, and use some warm light to light up from behind,.try to hide it while walking towards the camera and control the intensity gradually as if lit by an explosion. And use some good quality stock footage, you can search footagecrate stock on google! I hope to see it in the next short film. Cheers!

Hello Sir , please talk about your smoking kills part 2 . One thing I wanted to add why I didnt like it bcz - in it , everything was easily predictable & I felt that scenes(mostly action scenes) provide us enough time to predict what will happen in next scene. It was slow pace & But in 1st part .. there was a suspense from start to end .. which was likeable. 2nd ...I felt that some scenes needed dialogues( it was not convincing that music there was too high so they didn't tell anything to each other )..but in first part very naturally we didn't feel the need for any dialogues . ... 👍👍👍
