'The Berlin Outline'. Love it. That's what ill be referring to it as. Thanks again for another really helpful, accessible tutorial.

It like the way you draw. It looks always so simple.

As illustrator I’ve been using that as a stylisation for years. It’s something that’s often used in illustration sketch work and occasionally final work (for stylisation reasons) to firm up the silhouette - the shape of whatever you are illustrating is the most important thing for composition and readability, you can recognise a thing purely by its shape. So we start often by drawing the silhouette. Then add detail. By that point the shape is lost and when your handing in roughs or concept work, it just helps to define the key parts without having to spend more time in rendering things out. Guessing your Berlin friends are from the background or saw it somewhere else. Good idea though because the same principle applies: you are making it clearer what the shapes are without having to spend time rendering out with shadows and;or colour

Love it! Looks so cool, and I was wondering how to get to such a nice design. Will definitely adopt this one in my next GR! Thank you!

Yes - but it's not too complicated. And the effect is great!
