Learning Ritual : 1) Asymptotes are straight lines that approaches a curve . 2) Vertical and Horizontal asymptotes. 3) Horizontal asymptote : lim f(x) = c Vertical asymptote : lim f(x) = inf. 4) Vertical asymptote are domain discontinous as they never intersect the curve, but Horizontal asymptotes are extreme values i.e. they can intersect.
