Nice work Tracy. Isn't it wonderful how we can bring together different skills/hobbies and make beautiful things. Well done!! Kind regards . . . Andy

Thank you Andy. Yes, all of the little side projects I’ve learned over the years have all merged in silversmithing. Have a great day.

Beautiful pendants. Is it necessary to put enamel on the back since your setting them in a bezel?
@TracyGrossDesign11 ай бұрын
Yes, it keeps the metal from buckling in on itself. Otherwise the front would crack ☺️

Helo...sorry but i also did nt follow, did U used pencil on glossy white? how is it possible? or did U use black paint? with water? oil?..thanks

I used pencil on a sugar coat white. More recently I’ve taken some sand paper to the glass to give it a little tooth for the graphite to grab

Also, I used a black liquid enamel and brush from Thompson enamel for the very black black.

Hi Do you put a clear enamel on top of the graphite pencil drawings. thanks

Hi! Yes I did

1450 to 1500 is best for fist fire, and you can sand the pieces instead of using etching compound. Use a diamond sanding pad in water.

I sold them so fast I never even took pics. They sold right from my Instagram reel! Thank you for watching!

Can you do this technique without a kiln and just a torch?
@TracyGrossDesign11 ай бұрын
The hanks for watching🙂 I know many people do use a torch for enamels, I’ve tried it and had success… after many trial and error work through, but I do prefer a kiln.

Beautiful work! What kind of kiln do you use? Looking foward to seeing your finished pieces. ❤❤❤
