EDIT: At 2:13 don't forget to convert the paint effects strands into polygons beforehand!!! - this is a required step as alembic files need geo to work with. This step got lost in the recording process, apologies for the confusion! You can do this by going to the top panel -> Modify -> Convert

I wish more games would implement collision detection. I'm fine with bodies not having collisions when players walk through dead and alive bodies, but most other in-game objects, such as grass colliding with walls, rocks, players, NPCs, etc., require collision detection. In my opinion.

When I convert the paint effects into polygons and do the alembic, then i import the alembic, the collision/animation is lost.

You need to make sure to export/import the correct selection. As the original paint effect data is still in the scene, you might have selected and exported that as an alembic instead of the collision data?

You need to go into the Clump settings of the stroke and play around with them! (not 100% where to find the width but I'm sure you'll find it!)

Sorry for the very late reply - you need to convert your paint effects into polygons first by going to "modify>convert> convert paint effects to polygons". This step got lost in the recording process, apologies for that!
