I scripted and 3D printed this and found that the connectors in the non-horizontal directions seem to have an issue of some sort. Not sure if I missed something somewhere but I think it shows in this video too. You can see it at 46:50, when it zooms in to the connectors before changing them to a grey color. It looks like there was an extra copy of the middle box of the connector that doesn't get the circular hole sections booleaned out, thus making those connectors fuse with their triangles. The 3D print I produced can only bend along the x-axis.
