Great work, how can i assign these hexagons to an surface or to an organic form ?

This is awesome! However, I would like to 3D print these and they will not boolean union. How can I get this to a point to rapid prototype?

Well its been a long time since I've looked at this, but maybe you just need to increase the hexagon sizes so they overlap more for a better chance of a union.
