Grassington to Hebden & back

On this hot day in June we walked from Grassington to Hebden and back.
I hope you enjoy seeing what I managed to capture . If it had not been so hot I would have captured more. Hopefully this is enough to capture the essence of Gods own County as us Tykes call it ; )

We really enjoyed watching this video, Teddy (especially the waterfalls😁). The park gives a sense of peace and calm with the flowing water and the expansive fields, and the old buildings provide a sense of history. It would be a wonderful place to wander. Thank you for taking us with you.

That was a very nice walk you had taken. And this way you also showed something from this area. Yes when it is very hot then it is not always very nice to walk. Even the cows sought some shade from the trees. I like the photos also. Very beautiful and also was it here a quiet surroundings and the villages. Thanks for sharing and I wish you happy days. This is a lovey part of the Yorkshire Dales Grassington is a busy Dales Town visited by locals for their shopping and tourists for its charm. It is easy to escape the busy crowds as soon as you head out along the paths and green lanes . The little village of Hebden was so idylic and was lovely to see half way along the walk. Oh bring back those lovey sunny days! We never got as far as Linton Falls on our only visit to Grassington a couple of years back as it was black overhead and threatening heavy rain. We always said we could go back and after watching this (when summer comes back) we will do too, cheers Alan

I know we were exceptionally lucky to have sun most days on our two weeks staycation. its been awful for weeks now hasn't it ? I can definatly recomend you go back somtime Alan last year when we went the weather was not great but this year it was so hot, in fact a bit too hot for walking. The bonus about doing this circular walk along the riverside path to Hebden and then back over the fields and green lanes to Grassingtn , was the amazing tearoom we found at Hebden. The food and cakes were wonderful my huMum said the scone was the best she had ever had ! So if you go look out for it I will send you a DM on IG of what it was called .
