Sounds great, and extremely well thought out. Big fan of the Range Command which has stood the test of time however the Powercommand is power hungry and very unreliable. Also the lack of a higher reverse speed was limiting for hedgecutting, buckraking or loader application. Also the electro command was a stock man's box, no good for heavy haulage or field work such as baling due to only 4 gears in each range and a delay between ranges long enough to make the dinner and eat it. Autocommand a great box, more reliable than Fendt's vario and very simplistic however cvx/vario doesn't suit everybody. This seems to be a box to watch, very innovative and bound to be the biggest talking point for tractors in 2018. Would love to see yous guys get your hands on one and get it to work at a few applications and give it a real fair try. Also would be nice to involve Barry Read, Ryan Doc or some of the other guys you closely work with. Would be nice to see a T6.175 in action. This is really interesting for me as a new holland fan, very exciting stuff. I tust yous are already getting to work getting your hands on one and i can't wait to see the outcome. Really really like the sound of this.

Any more information on the T7.215 S in the background ? Does the S stand for a higher spec or what ? Iv never seen it before
@3picknmix6 жыл бұрын
S means that the tractor is a standard/basic/lowest spec

So more or less an identical gearbox to a direct drive? About time new Holland brought out a new gearbox but they could do with fixing their brake issue too...
@agrifan53496 жыл бұрын
John Deere 6830 fan Brake issues are not something ive experienced. Have had T7s doing heavy pulling work with 7000+ hours and brakes checked and dealer mechanic said no need to change them even when we already had her split. Although i do accept other people have had issues with NH brakes. Maybe alot to do with the operator or time spent sitting parked up. Alot of brake issues tend to be witb fellas holding brake pedal in the whole way down a long hill which is a HUGE NO NO for wet brakes. If brakes are held in for long period, no oil can get in between to lubricate and for example if you were drawing stone/silage/muck/grain down hill away from a site or quarry or field and the operator holds the brakes on the whole way down the hill, you could wear brakes out in a day easily.

I don't nó much about tractors but if I got one it be a new Holland
@minty37746 жыл бұрын
So it's basically a dyna 6 from Massey
@kevinkoopman51386 жыл бұрын
Minty No because this transmission is an 8 speed, 3 range powershift whereas the dyna6 is a 6 speed powershift, 4 range transmission

Kevin Koopman and in my opinion the New Holland is nicer
@Dermo376 жыл бұрын
Ya look totally lost Garret but ur right the range and power range are starting to get long in the tooth compared to the JD direct box

Dermo37 at least he got one thing right.

New Holland:Hey let’s just copy what most tractor companies did years ago but get grassmen involved so then it’s “revolutionary “😂💀💀

Can you do more Massey Ferguson or John Deere videos but love it all
@valleyboy20996 жыл бұрын
Sounds lyk the dyno 4/6 massey box
@miguelangelrodriguezlopez4806 жыл бұрын
Really a new Transmission ??? The preaty old Dyna-6 of Massey Ferguson offers the same features, from brake to neutral, fully automatic mode, adjustment of the aggressiveness of the change, speedmatching that changes to the most suitable gear when you go up or down the following range. Only one different, double clutch technology, which makes it a little more efficient, but, the maintenance?? In the Massey you can change gears at the Power Shutle, T lever (or multipad), or hidraulic joystick (if is fited) at the same time. Dinamic Command, is nothing new special. I think
@agrifan53496 жыл бұрын
miguel angel rodriguez lopez Dyna 6 doesn't suit some jobs because you get have to change range at the headrig eg baling or mowing and then change back down and there is a delay in that process. Thats just one minor point. But definately not the same as Dyna 6 if you listen closely. This seems more advanced
@miguelangelrodriguezlopez4806 жыл бұрын
yes, i agree , it´s true could be more smooth and efficient, but normally it's not necessary to change the range in the field working, for that reason is good to have more gears per Range, as Dual Command has, 3x8 than 4x6 dyna 6 in MF. It makes more difference than the Dual clutch tech.
@zzirSnipzz16 жыл бұрын
Should be less stress if the trans has the gear already pre-selected no jumping into gear .Although as rough operator will still damage anything :)
@mduggan73076 жыл бұрын
Still pointless if you can't skip ranges like a dyna 6
@craigcollinsphotography32746 жыл бұрын
LUL this gearbox has been out for many years on actually good tractors
@georgewalker24976 жыл бұрын
do they forget about the livestock farmers who just want a simple tractor to have on a loader and they can throw about all over the yard and feild doing loads of different tasks that your not afraid to get covered in sh*te
@trossponsor90774 жыл бұрын
Seems like you need Autocommand
@andykane4396 жыл бұрын
Stick with vario ,

Another gear box from newholland the mechanics must be dreading the thoughts of having to learn how rip out and rebuild another newholland masterpiece. Just go back to using zf and build 12000hrs+ tractors

John deere have a direct drive gearbox like this for 5 years......welcome to the party new holland 😜 better late then never 👍
@agrifan53496 жыл бұрын
gerry6420 Ah but sure we've had range command since the 90s and most John Deere men are still wresting with gear sticks 😉
@gerry64206 жыл бұрын
Any one who drives Deere’s doesn’t know what wrestling with gearboxes means. 😂 Were new holland not giving a spare range command with every new tractor bought 😜 Deere’s has had power quads since 1993 and have had power shift on larger models since the 70s. Way ahead.....😜😜
@agrifan53496 жыл бұрын
gerry6420 Range command gave very little bother in fairness. Ahh come on, plenty of wrestling with the stick in power quad to find A and B which youd break your wrist trying to get into 😉😅Yeah they had powershift from early on but only on the bigger tractors or US models 😉Will you be buying direct drive next yourself Gerry or stick with autoquad?
@gerry64206 жыл бұрын
AgriFan I agree with A and B. They can be tight on tractors their not used much on. Including our own. Complete pain. I would try a differnt box. Maybe a vario type. When looked after and not abused they seem to be good job. I may even try differnt make.
@agrifan53496 жыл бұрын
gerry6420 What make would you be tempted by? Please don't say Fendt😅🙈
