Great to see the company still in being. Remember firstly carrying out repairs and maintenance on their machines and later selling them via the MF dealership I worked for in the Sixties. Also when in business as a mobile engineer servicing and repairing a wide range of farm and industrial tractors and implements. I have to say that some farmers at the time were sceptical of Teagle equipment possibly because it looked more basic and heavier but found later that their fears were misplaced as the machines plodded on long after their rivals had failed. Really heartwarming video of a great little UK Company.

Neagle make stuff the lasts. We had a 5050 Tomahawk for feeding Haylage to sheep pre lambing. Some of our neighbours used to borrow it to bed sheds for ewes coming in. We had it about 10 years & it lay outside all the time. Apart from a joint on the PTO shaft, it never needed a part. Given the abuse it took, the paint wasn’t bad in it either. It’s still going strong for the guy who bought it.

The teagle factory is only about 6 miles from me, there is lots of history. I have met James teagle, I only wanted details of a old hedge cutter I had, and James came and sorted it for me.

Good British engineering and the way it should be done , nearly everything made in house and supporting the local economy by investment in the work force , and they’re local to me here in Devon
