After 30 years in plant game I’ve pretty much driven them all and have to say up to 25 tonne it’s very hard to beat the hitachi. Smooth, powerful, reliable and very operator friendly.

Not at all.. as some one that operates a 360 every day for last 12 years+ & I mainly operate big stuff 20ton plus.. I can say Volvo all the way.. there’s no better cab to be in all day & machine wise Volvo operate beautiful.... hitatchi are lovely machines no doubt there smooth brilliant for gradeing up.. but not a patch on the volvos I’ll take a Volvo over hitatchi cat komatsu doosan jcb ectra any day of week.. #team Volvo

Nah lad in the larger sized excavators anyway (50 tonne) and up they are useless a CAT would throw them out of the way any day of the week. They have a nice cab to be fair there’s a nice overall finish on them but by god they wouldn’t dig shit lad and they’re unbearablely slow and unbalanced

To be fair it’s not a bad digger I operate one 5 days a week just had the power upgrade on it so it runs with more power lots better. But would say a Hyundai is much faster and more power 👍

Hyundai’s are bouncy back breaking soul destroying fucks of things and aren’t even in the same ball park as hitachi and I’m a full time operator for the last 25 years. There’s not a man or woman I know that will happily spend a day in one of the dirty things.

@@Alexr-uf3zn for me below 20 tonne hitachi has the edge on the 3 above, however above 20 tonne the 3 above are better than hitachi, currently on a 380 Volvo and its a lovely place to spend a day, so comfortable and smooth. Komatsu aren’t comfortable but a good machine. For outright digging power though it’s hard to beat the cat. That’s just my opinion and it’ll probably be different for other’s.Spent 3 weeks on a brand new 340 Hyundai a few years ago and was ready to burn it. Horrible things!!

@@noelcxl2037 - same I drive a 380 & 480 Volvo on demo & civils every day of week for last 12+ years.. u Carnt beat a Volvo defo the best operator cabs... the Volvo 140s are just as good as the hitatchi 130/135s.. I’m the same as you find the komatsu seats are horrible there to hard & narrow u have dead arse buy end of day.. Hyundai & lui gong are cheap arse crap jerky as the hydro pumps are shit cabs are plastic as & not nice to sit in all day track motors are garbage cheap built crap 🤣 every driver has there own preference but Volvo all way followed buy cat for me personally

I have driven kobelco volvo cat doosan Hitachi kato hyundai. My self drive kobelco and hitatchi. The hitatchi have nice hydraulik. But kobelco is Even better. When you drive them both many 1000hours a year you wil know who is best.😀

@@lukehickey7453 you ask any proper driver what he would take & it wouldn’t be a kobelco 🤣 130k fuck all that’s monkey metal money.. that try spending 170/180k on a machine get what you pay for there cheap crap kobelco & after driving a few different size kobelco over the years I will not change my mind rubbish machines I I had a brand spanking sk270 kobelco on demo with 3 hours on it when it was delivered & was the biggest heap I’ve drove in the last 2 years absolute shed I wouldn’t waste £1.30 on one let alone £130k... we was ment to have it on a job for 2/3 weeks & our gaffer fucked it off after 4 days absolute shed.. you get what you pay for & you don’t get quality in a kobelco
