Matt, what about gamma, lift, gain wheels in primary color correction? There was not any operation with them.

Hello. How did you duplicate the layer with the mouse, (video fragment 6:33) ?

Just select everything in the layer you want to duplicate, copy and then paste to the new layer.

It should be an icon that looks like a vectorscope above your timeline on the right side. It then can switch between vectorscope and waveform monitor.

You may have to click the arrow down on the right side of the tools menu to see it. It's near the audio mixer

No, they need to be deleted one by one for each clip, since the color correction information is tied to the clip (like layouter).

That's very vague. I suggest you contact support at www.grassvalley.com/support/contact and click support for professional products. Although I would suggest an uninstall and clean install.

hi,thanks for the reply I found out it was the 8.2 update. I am running windows 7 and edius 8 works rock solid but as soon as I install the 8.2 update it starts to go south like failing to launch and stuff. I'm going to uninstall and then just run the pro8 version thanks a million.

Hi, it comes up in the video from 2:10, instructions are also below: 1. In the Bin panel select the effect option 2. Under effects panel choose Video filters > color correction 3. Drag the effect required to the timeline. Such as YUV or 3 way primary. 4. Open the information panel 5. You will see the selected color tool as an effect in the list, double click this to open the tool. The color tools will now open for you to manipulate.

Hey Matt! I love your tutorials especially regarding to Edius. And one of my two kittens love your videos too: flic.kr/p/UVyGtm ;) Can't wait to get my copy of Edius 8.5, which hopefully arrives tomorrow. I'm still cutting and grading with 7.5. The primary color correction filter looks awesome. Last week i received my Panasonic GH5, ready to be punished in Edius 8... ;) Edius is the best editing suite i know, and i tried all of them. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
