Hi disturbed, loving the maize plus and animal addiction 👍 But I noticed I was always getting minus 2 percent yield, so I tried the grascare mulches to no effect in percent but then I tried the normal mulches for crops and bang getting full yeild, so much more learning with this mod lol.

If you have PF running the grassland mulchers are useless

Yeah as I found out lol. But I had a very large field so tried 9 metres wide mulches instead of the maize plus mulcher.

When mowing grass and subsequent baling, it turns out like this: mowing without conditioning into a roll, then baling into a film of 150cm bales - a bale of grass silage for 5000 liters is obtained; the same thing, but with conditioning - a bale of wholecorp silage for 5500 is obtained. It's not right. In any case, grass silage should be obtained. And that's what it says in the table in the guide. But in fact, this is it. And another point: the rounder bale mod does not work on a bale of grass silage, although the description of the mod says that it is adapted for maize plus. What could be the problem? Please tell me what needs to be fixed so that everything works as it should. Thanks!

You are using either an incompatible baler or a mod that changes how bales behave.

walk up to a wrapped bale and I think it's the R key (the F1 menu will tell you). It's a base game function of FS22

D/S do you know of any mods or ideas for turning fresh grass into conditioned grass after harvesting? I use the papasmurf modding krone mower/wagon combo for cleaning the map up, think like road sides, common, areas field edges, but it doesn’t have a conditioner option so I only get wet grass.

No in your save where the fresh grass bales exist.

@@DisTurbedSimulations oh gotcha, it’s just sitting in a trailer. Now that I’m typing this out I guess I could just F12 it and empty then refill. I could also just dump it into the feed for the cows, then buy the other input to make 100% food. Could be more realistic because roadside grass isn’t exactly the highest quality, plus you would need “labor” to sort the trash that you picked up!

Yup, not sure if rain effects the yield but there is no rotting like in FS19 with seasons. I have a video I think of me making hay in the snow early on in FS22

Should I be able to bail and wrap fresh grass? My bailer/wrapper combo does not wrap a fresh grass bail.

Yes, you can. Make sure you are using a bale size your baler wrapper can wrap. Some will make bales bigger than the wrapper can handle

@@DisTurbedSimulations thanks for the reply. So, I am making 150cm round bails which my wrapper will wrap, but it will not wrap a bail of fresh grass. It does wrap conditioned grass though.

Sounds like you have some sort of mod conflict. I know you can wrap fresh grass with the pottinger baler/wrapper as I've done it many times

Hello... with all due respect... how can i make grass-silage bales? Once grass has fermented, it automatically turnes into wholecrop-silage which feedmixers won´t accept..

Are you using the animal food additions? It is currently required until we patch the mod. If you are you have a mod conflict as every grass bale I've wrapped has turned in to silage. If you need detailed support it's best to go to the M+ discord

No you need it enabled. I'd guess you have some random mod conflict going on. Head over the the M+ discord if you want more support, there is a link in the video description

Did I miss something here? Seems to me like there is absolutely no reason to ever make fresh grass? Why would you not just make conditioned grass whenever you cut it? Since there is nothing you can use it for, that you can also do with conditioned grass.

You didn't watch my cow feeding video, you can feed fresh grass grass and it covers 3 of the 4 feed requirements. Does the same for sheep too.

You said you could put conditioned grass in the Bunker silo. I cant seem to do that from my Forage wagon? I cant even put semi dry into it ethier This is all with a new game save to.... It wont even take fresh grass... It wont even let me tip out the pruduct anywhere. Something is not right with this mod.

Do you know why butterfly mowers always leave a pile of grass at the end of the field? Self propelled mowers don’t do it.
