I was in 11th grade. It was a Tuesday night. I remember going to school the next day. No sleep. Hahaha. Great times with my friends Matty and Jeffrey. What is great is the three of us were in Cancun for Playin in the Sand in Jan 2020! The Dead are still to this day our favorite band!

Hey, thanks for this upload! I have been on a real big Dead '85 kick lately, and there are just so many overlooked performances. i think the whole 80s decade is a little underrated, at least with a lot of 'heads i correspond with. Each year of the 80s was rather brilliant, though. And this is no exception, it's a fine, fun, rockin' ole time with America's House Band.... the Good Ol' Grateful Dead! Thank you again. One of many memorable shows when I was in grad school at SUNY Albany. Went to both Worcester Centrum shows this run and Springfield earlier that year. Bill Walton sighting second set on stage with maybe Larry Bird and Robert Parrish? If memory serves there was serious snow and cold en route back to Albany LATE night/early morning in my roommates beatup rusting Monza. I got back at 4 a.m. and was set to teach my 8 a.m. Political Science breakout session with the American Politics 101 freshmen. I grabbed a coffee and straggled into the section and saw the faces of my students and told them "fuck it - most of us were probably at the show last night so let's just talk about it and hang out". Long live the Dead!

AWESOME BABY!!! I had a huge 85-86 tape collection and the fall 85 shows were my favorites! You posted a board of 11/2/85 which I listened to dozens of times on a crappy aud tape and now this! I've worshipped this Worcester show for 34 years. Another raging upgrade of a show I've listened to at least 20 times. I can't wait to immerse myself in the magic of your ear candy! This will be the first time I hear this gem as it was meant to be heard. You keep upping the anti Okie! You've taken the time and effort to find these incredible recordings. Brent is on fire here! The whole band is! Even though in 1985, Jerry was sick, he still played extremely well....'85 seems to be an overlooked year at least in my opinion and such..I liked how they played some extra old blues numbers around the mid-80s.... Awesome you were there, sounds like a great "first show" to experience! If you remember anything else from it, I would love to hear about it... I never got to see Jerry and got on the bus in 2004, so I am a sucker for tour stories! Cheers from Nashville, Tennessee!
