Now THIS is special... This is basically a band stepping back in DEFERENCE and love and awe and supporting the genius that was Garcia... VERY rare to find musicians in ANY genre who can emote this clearly and with COMMAND... Remarkable tenderness and vulnerability from a man so many loved and revered for his many talents - but the one he could best achieve when on his pins, was the act of giving this kind of heartbreaking performance... Love back to you always, Jerry.

This and the 7/9/95 soldier field So many roads are two that touch my heart the most. Amazing

Rina Chattey so lucky you saw this live, he didn’t share it much. I was with you at both soldier shows 95 and the tour. Lookin back, it was crazy times for all. Crashin gates, cancelled shows, decks toppled down on top of heads in the pouring rain, so many seriously hurt, OD’s, etc. The time was a comin, we should have known by lookin at him. He was worn, torn and tired. Then his _____ took control and wouldn’t even let him close his eyes in his own peaceful requested habitat. It’s all ok. His forever love shines down upon us all, casting shadows here and there just to remind us, peace I’m here now. Comes a time when not a day goes by “I think of you” still miss

This MSG show was by far the best of what I got to see of the Grateful Dead. This song has always been a special one for me, but this one got the goose bumps and the tears going. I remember it like it was yesterday! If only it was. I got a late start in only seeing the GD 36 times from 90 to 94, as I was surfing in Indonesia the day Jerry died, so missed all of 95.

I saw Vince the night before this & asked him to request this to Jerry, I had met Jer' back in '87 at that show he asked if I wanted to hear anything? Of course I said St. Stephen. He replied "ask Phil that they hadn't done it in a while." So to my surprise when the boys pulled this out my dream had been answered. After the she upon seeing Vinny he said "so how'd you like it"? to which I just put my hand on my heart, shook my head & :-) smiled big with a gracious THANK YOU! MISS U JER & VINCE

Thank u utube for making me happy but sad for I was with the guys for 10 years inlove with Jerry for the 1 st time in my life plus I had some men that truely loved me but it wasn’t enough but when me + Jerry met there was something in our way to hug eachother like a ball of energy to strong to get through until after the show he came down to the room the band had for us + then we got together but this friend would not leave us alone ! She ruined something in us because he didn’t know if it was planed or not but by my standards she wasn’t allowed so we were not friends anymore ! To much I could tell but I’m to tired ! 😴 ❤
