Risking being ostracized for sacrilegious thoughts, try a Phish event. There are moments every bit as moving and out of this world with them. They are NOT the Dead and sound very different but the way they embrace the music and how it flows from them is spectacular at times. Just like the Dead they get it and want to celebrate with you. Just let it flow

@@petercollins5861 First time I saw them around '99 I thought they were a inspired by Frank Zappa and they never that night developed a real jam of any duration. I understand your opinion. Then I went again around 2020 to Bethel Arts and they knocked me out. Never heard anyone play a Day In The Life live and that was their encore. They won me over. Still prefer the Dead but they don't exist anymore except in records and mp3.

When the spirits knew just what do, they transported into the middle of a game of cards, i split my card i had all aces back to back cards all plush a royal flush, grabbing the gold from the dead archetypes of the tarot my winning hand suddenly transported me into space. Below a bright blue ball spinning, spinning free. . .

Starting in '78, my intention always was to leave my body, and this plane, and proceed into inter-stellar overdrive into regions that were light years and physical dimensions apart from the one in which I arrived at the venue. I often said good bye to close friends when I departed town to drive into the city for the start of a run of shows. I still think that this is the way humankind will syncopate it's minds' abilities to attain it's greatest and most fundamental transformations, for it is said that 90% of our minds' abilities are yet unrealized. But Creator gave us his soul, and made us small parts of himself so as to be able to experience himself in the physical realm. There is much growing for us in the future, if we can avoid destroying ourselves thru fear and greed, and remember just who we really, truly are. The Bible says it, we are made in His image, and he has great and magnificent plans for us, as does any parent. Brothers and Sisters, always remember to Love your Brothers and Sisters, as you love yourself. For is not one of the first things we were taught was that Love is All? And that we ourselves are created from Love, That LOVE IS ALL? And that God himself is Love? And so children, if God IS Love, and we ourselves are created of Love, that (and hold onto your hats kids, because this is NOT blasphemy!) If Love is ALL, and God is Love, and we humans are in turn created by our Creator OF LOVE, how can it be denied that we TOO are of God? Is this not the best of news? Yet by the same token, doesn't it place the tremendous responsibility of that gift upon us?The only thing is though, our human race has a very steep learning curve to tackle, or all will be lost, and instead of having a Heaven to call our own, and to reach out to other worlds and peoples as great benefactora just as did Creator, we find ourselves standing at the abyss of an annihilation of ourselves through an orgy of an uncontrolled competitive calamity, deserving the destruction we have wrought upon ourselves. The decision is upon us now, and unless grow the hell up in a big hurry, unless we pull our heads out of our asses without further delay,, that ship will have already sailed, and we'll have transformed our own paradise into our inescapable hell,.proving ourselves too immature and too inept to assume the mantle that the Creator prepared us to assume. The future is here, we are it, we are on our own. Big Daddy cannot keep changing our diapers, and he's always insisted on free will for human beings. The time has come to grow up, or perish by our own hand. Remember where we came from, remember who and what we are. Love is the solution, for ourselves, for our brethren, for our planet, for our universe. There is really no other way to survive. Choose Life, choose love of and for all things. Or keep circling the drain, in tighter and tighter spirals, until we find ourselves falling irreversibly into the sewer, immediately after all of those "bad guys", that we've already sent on their own journey. But gee-whiz, won't it be great being the big winner, the last to go down the drain? Hail the Victory of the idiots!
