Those things are so beautiful. It’s the basis for the RMRC Goblin/Nano Goblin, too. A friend of mine bought a Graugan from Kavin. It was huge, and gorgeous. That Kevlar/fiberglas layup he does is crazy.

Yes I have been a fan ever since I saw them in the cofpv videos.

@@thenatedog I’ve thought about reaching out to Kavin and seeing if he’d be willing to build another but never pulled the trigger

@@swissfreek I'm going to be trying to refigure out how to use iNav as I haven't done it in a while and I don't want to lose this big thing far out. Mainly for auto launch as this thing's going to be on 6S with the scary 9-in prop in the back.

@@thenatedog inav has come a long way. I swear by it, especially autolaunch. If you want/need help let me know.

Hey man, was wondering if you have plans floating around for that cutter of yours? I have an old ender 3 that I've been thinking of harvesting for a cutter.
@thenatedog3 күн бұрын
no this was a purchased kit, but you can get plans for similar setups here: rckeith.co.uk/

@thenatedog I've been eyeing a few plans. Seems this kit isn't being sold anymore? Tried a few links and the website was dead.

@ yeah he handed off the kit to alofthobbies.com to sell but they have other projects at the moment.

Very cool, Nate! Now go fly a pool noodle!

Nice work looking forward to seeing that one😁

You see how he covers it i his videos? Ill just be doing a more classic tape and laminate covering.
@donstrasser7940 Жыл бұрын
From what I have heard, that thinned goop and kevlar covering makes it incredibly tough and durable.
@thenatedog Жыл бұрын
@@donstrasser7940 Yeah pretty expensive to get that much kevlar and i dont really feel like messing around with thinning goop. The way i usually build slope planks and fpv stuff is strong enough. Bi-weave packing tape with laminate of some kind over the top of that.
