One thing to be aware of with the GRAV grinder is after you’ve broke it down and put it back together a couple dozen times, if you take a damp cotton ball and run it around the threads you’ll pick up a LOT of dust. That’s aluminum dust. Another issue I had with the GRAV grinder is that when my Bud was on the moist side, the grinder would jam up. It’s jammed up on me so bad it could not be turned. I had to open and remove the clogged herb from between the teeth. And load much smaller amounts for it to even work. Of course with dryer Bud this doesn’t really happen. Much. All in all I won’t even use my GRAV grinder. I contacted GRAV and mentioned some of my concerns and they gave me a $70 credit for their store. I bought the 4 part GRAV grinder. Mine has the screen section with the windows. The screen holes are so small just about nothing goes through. This is actually the one and only product GRAV came out with that I personally didn’t like and won’t even use. I love the design and the look though. It’s a super cool looking grinder. Which is why I bought it.

Not positive, but often grinders come with a little keif scoop, usually plastic so that’s why I’m not sure if that’s what you have

It’s for kief. I don’t think it was a good idea to make one out of steel / aluminum. It might scratch the grinder when using it.

Its called a pollen scoop and its used to transfer kief (and/or) the ground flower to your smoking device without robbing the bud of it trichomes. Trichomes stick ferociously to skin and fingertips!

Take a wet cotton ball and run it across the threads areas. You’ll pick up lots of aluminum dust. Uh huh yeah those are great grinders! If you’re into aluminum poisoning lol

The teeth leaves almost no room for the bud to pass. GRAV grinders kind of suck. Especially if your herb is moist at all. GRAV grinder won’t even work

Meant to be smaller. I use a viking and I took out the mesh screen so it fits in my sling bag nicely. These are good if you don’t care about kief collection
