Yes! I can't wait to hear the cassettes! I made mixed tapes all the time, recorded over anything else-anything I could get my hands on. If you shove paper in the little square hole, you can record over anything, doesn't have to be blank.

I know that Edgebrook was having a lot of problems with their roofing things like leaking and all that so maybe that was one of their problems now all the lady’s that were at that store are at the Harrisburg one now that you went to.

All our Op (Opportunity) Shops, here in AU, have Change Rooms/Fitting Rooms with mirrors, like retail clothes stores. And I haven't been to any that have a set price on all items/$2ea etc. No, volunteers work out the back, individually pricing EVERYthing, with a price they 'think' is 'fair' for that specific 2nd hand item (that was donated freely to the store). Nearly all our Op Shops are charity-run - Vinnies (St Vincent De Paul), Salvos (Salvation Army), Red Cross, Endeavour, Lifeline... they are all charity-owned & run fundraising stores. You should come to Brisbane AU sometime; it would take a few days to show you all my favourite haunts to 'thrift' in! xxx

Here in the Philippines, there are malls filled to the brim with thrift items. A shirt/bottom can be as cheap as 50 cents and a dress can usually be around $2. My latest find was a really cute and kinda weird pair of blue shorts with rabbit faces for only $2 and I am in love with it so much!

I had a phone similar to that. The only difference was it wasn't a flip phone. We also used to have a consignment shop in the twin I grew up in (Hudson, New York) that sold vintage clothing. I loved that place! I bought a beautiful 1950's Lord & Taylor ball gown that I called my Donna Reed dress! They let you put things on layaway! I bought a few pieces from them. A little black dress from the 1960's and another funky patterned dress from the 1960's!
