I expect you can get mineral oil and glycerin to make your own. The lamps are super cute but I think it's bad that half the ingredients were dried up even though they were sealed.

I mean, nothing stopping you from using those lava lamp containers for stuff other than lipgloss. I would put Jojoba oil in it (maybe with some rose water) and use it all over. You could also use it as a perfume (oil) dispenser. The list goes on...

Bunny ... Have you ever stopped to think that you can simply reproduce that "Oatmeal Breakfast" you were talking about by simple making yourself a bowl of warm oatmeal & add a tbsp of your favorite Jam ... ( like 🍓) ... & Voila much better version & healthier too - Enjoy !!!

Yes, my husbands mom always did this for him and he showed me. We use peach jam and it also helps cool down the oatmeal. It’s yummy!

This was kinda cute. I mean, my Barbies would full on dig it. Be careful when using a mineral oil base lip gloss, it will dry out your lips. Maybe only use as a topper. Second comment lol. This is a really cool idea. I think maybe a little less of the lava color in it, would have made the lava effect better. For $12 bucks, this is really cool. I am an adult woman in her 30's, and I would totally do this lol. Oh, also with lipgloss like this with a roller ball. Usually it will start working better after you get it going. Like get the gloss to start coming thru, then it will usually be good. You might have to hold it downwards to keep getting more in the roller ball from time to time, but there should be enough in the rollerball to use it a few times, holding it in a "normal" way before u would have to get more of the gloss to go thru it.

The Oatmeal or Porridge that I remember in the 90s (Called Ready Brek) came with chocolate or strawberry powder to flavour it and it was like Nesquick milkshake powder, but it wasn't nice strong flavour and I remember it being gritty. Then a few years later it was discontinued (because of additives and high sugar) and a chocolate Ready Brek came out and it was already flavoured and a chocolate brown colour. Not sure if its still being sold today. Ready Brek porridge was very fine ground oats and you mix it with milk and microwave it for 90 seconds. Kinda like instant oats by the Quaker Oats brand.

love the lava lamp gloss! you reminded me of this oatmeal my mom used to get for us that came with a packet of edible Dino eggs and after you make the oatmeal you put them on top and the heat melts the eggs and reveals a gummy Dino on the inside!

You can still get the dino egg oatmeal today :) my 16 year old daughter used to eat it all the time. She loved them and when my 9 year old son was younger he would eat them. Ive been thinking about buying them again to see if all 3 of them would like them still. I also have a 12 year old daughter lol
