This took me three hours to find, no joke.. i just dont want to be the guy complaining in a video generally, but it was very difficult to find. I would have shown the gate i drive in, but it wasnt safe with all the traffic

Didn't know he was buried in Forest Park. Also didn't know that Todd Fischer owns Todd AO - full circle! Always learn something new from this channel, thanks Jordan for the post.

Great Vlog. I lived in Forest Park for 32 years and still live close by. I still remember when all of that happened about Mike's remains. If Interested, about 2 or 3 blocks southeast of exactly where you were, Clara Pellet of where's the beef fame is buried. A lot of people think Mike Todd's remains were moved to a secret location, but I always heard that wasn't true. It truly wouldn't make sense to move part of a seat belt from the plane and some bone fragments to another location. I still remember in the mid 80's when Liz came out to visit his gravesite and the cops had Roosevelt Rd and Desplaines Ave all blocked off.

Hi Jordan and The Beautiful Miss Katie :) *Through watching your vlogs I found Cat & Todd and am really enjoying their KZbin channel too. Mike Todd - wow, what a life he lived! I've heard the stories about Mike Todd on Cat & Todd but didn't know much about Mike Todd until watching your vlog. You always do a fantastic job making your vlogs = they are like a mini documentary.

This was such an interesting memorial biography, his early years were every bit as spectacular as his public career. He was truly a larger than life character. He never seemed to fear risks, he just set his sights on something then went for it. Not many people could have pulled off such a famous cast list, or indeed so many international locations without a studio behind them. I remember the excellent interview you did with Todd Fisher who explained the various types of cameras (including Todd AO). Great episode Jordan, many thanks for all your brilliant work.

Enjoy so much all these wonderful memory stories that you do Jordan. I’ve been watching you for quite a while now. Your great at what you do, plus it seems to me that your acquiring a rather big & well known name for yourself of which I’m so pleased to hear. Confession, sometimes I tune in mainly to get an update on your adorable partner, Jahs (spell.?). The two of you make a perfect pair, and I love how attentive & the way you care for him as it’s certainly obvious by the way he adores you❣️ Totally LOVED your story about Mike & Elizabeth ( I know she hated to be called Liz, so I heard. However I don’t mind telling anytime I hear anything about the two of them I seriously do get melancholy. Anyway, once again, you are the best❣️❣️❣️🌎💔 Roch.N.Y. 🇺🇸

I loved today's episode. You make all of your vlogs come alive. You are very respectable to each story. Thank you, Jordan. I live my life precariously through you. LOL! It must be because you are from the same county, as I, Miami County, OH! Safe travels, enjoy your vlogs. Keep them coming. It appears you DO STOP AND SMELL the roses while you are out and about!

We had a friend who fell in love with a woman he had never dated , like This Mike Todd did to Liz Taylor the guy we knew had made all the plans for their future. He started planning the gift he gave her at work for Valentines Day two months ahead of time , I asked him if he should nt ask her out for lunch or at least coffee before he started making plans for their future. He spent a long time choosing the gift & tickets to an event. I found out later it didn’t go well for him. So she had a boyfriend and thanked our friend for the gift that she kept on her desk & took her boyfriend to the event. I felt bad our friend was so heartbroken but hearing more of these old Hollywood love stories I guess men do sometimes meet a woman & make plans for the future without speaking to the woman first 😂😂

Thanks Jordan. I knew about Mike Todd, Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher background, but certainly not all the movie info. Also, the thing about his remains being moved. That's morbid and yes, I think that guy moved them for the publicity. So sad.

Wicker Park is a neighborhood in Chicago on the near north side. For the longest time, I believed Mike Todd was buried in a cemetery in the traditionally heavily Jewish Chicago suburb of Skokie.

I had no idea Mike Todd was buried in illinois, which is next to Indiana where I am originally from. Anyway, its such a shame he died when he did. I dont think him and Liz had been married long and were crazy about each other. What was cool is that Liz did get to see Mike again during a near death experience she had when she was ill and had to be revived. She recounted that during her NDE Mike told her that it was not her time and that she had to go back because she had more work to do. So that was probably a great comfort and a gift for her get to get to see Mike again.
