Such a great film! I love it. Also, why do I get the impression that sooner or later, you won't just be roommates?

I think that Clarice is experiencing a baptism by fire. She has to go through hell in order to graduate. There are few scenes were she is shaken up and is trying to remain strong

3:20 It is amazing you mentioned Dana Scully since Chris carter was so inspired by Jodie Foster's character he made Scully the same way in the FBI-Doctor mold and Gillian played her just as well as Jodie played Clearence 4:25 make him balding and you have Skinner(Mitch P)

@@robertmcghintheorca49 No wrong. Chris himself even stated in an interview about how Silence of the lambs was an inspiration for the X-files as well as the night stalker of which the late and great Darren Macgreger was in 2 epps they wanted him as Fox's father but he declined the offer

The picture Hannibal drew in his cell was the Duomo Belvedere and Fredericka Bimmel was from Belvedere Ohio... Do you think that meant anything?

Hannibal mentions that it is Florence. Florence is the home of renaissance art. The portrait of Clarice is inspired by Raphael. Instead of being a Madonna and Child it is Clarice holding a lamb

The first movie adapted from a Thomas Harris' novel I saw was "Black Sunday" (1977) which is a 'true crime' story worth a look.

I watched most of the series and I really didn't like it. Very mid but was watching with someone at the time. The character of Will isn't very likeable, especially when they try way too hard to push that Will and Hannibal have this strong, mysterious bond. I also didn't enjoy Madds as Hannibal. His acting was good but the overall character seemed too sexual. I guess I look at Anthony Hopkins and don't see a sexual person, which makes him more unrelatable and demented. But with Madds, it felt like a love triangle between him, Will, and the therapist. And of course the therapist chose Hannibal over Will, which was kind of infuriating. The story and pacing was also way too drawn out and became very boring in places. The classical music teacher was a good ep but I don't think this needed to be a tv show.
