@@mr.baphomet-fpv this is my friends bike that I borrowed when deciding to buy this or the Tempest. I went with the tempest. The tyres were 42mm panaracer gravelkings

Appreciate the video, looking at the tempest vs goldrush so both vids have helped me. Would love a link to this ride please

Thanks. The purbecks are always a fun place to ride. Here’s my strava link, are you local to the area? strava.app.link/OefRl6WYjyb

Hello, what was you choice between theses 2 bikes ? Thanks (;
@thebikepackingadventurer4 ай бұрын
@simscape7869 I bought the tempest. It’s a more aggressive geometry, so a bit better suited to bikepacking where I can crank out miles on the road, but also still being capable of going off road. Few videos on my channel of me on it 👌🏻

Cheers poppy. It’s that time of year where people go camping with their uncles soon. Just a little bit warmer and it’s good

I've heard some owners complaining that their heels catch the chainstays on this model. How did you find this?
@thebikepackingadventurer Жыл бұрын
I have size 11 shoes and no issues. I think if people ride flats pedals with heels in you may catch, but that’s not how they should pedals. Likewise with spd clips. If heels touch the chainstays, cleats are in the wrong position or you have clown feet 😂

Hi. GPpd vid's. I see you bought the Tempest. Curious to know why you went for that rather than the titus goldrush you rode here? I'm in Aus and trying to decide between the two. Cheers

The gold rush is a great bike as well, but I wanted something that felt a bit faster on the road. The gold rush is a much more slack bike, so a bit more stable off road, but then closer to a mtb position with drop bars. the tempest is much closer to a road bike position that can handle off road rides too. I wanted a bike that is more of a mile muncher and a great touring bike. Both could do that, but the tempest feels much faster on the road. Hope that helps?

@@thebikepackingadventurer Thanks so much. Really appreciated. I suspect I’ll be making the same selection. Cheers.

@@cameronsanderson7924 the tempest is more than capable enough for many trails and if it isn’t then probably shouldn’t be on the trail with anything but a mtb. I highly recommend it as it’s a good bike on and off road

Hi, what size is your goldrush?
@thebikepackingadventurer2 жыл бұрын
This is my friends bike I borrowed until my tempest arrived. This is a large. I think it would suit people up to 6’1 roughly. I am 6’3 and felt slightly cramped
