i’ve been playing guitar for about 12 year and I mean this humbly but I believe im pretty good 😅🤣, my church put me on bass for this thursday and we’re playing this song. I don’t own a bass I just need to memorize what octaves to play when I actually play the bass this Thursday

It tends to be easier for guitar players to translate their knowledge to the bass. Additionally, guitar playing requires a good understanding of rhythm, since there is strumming involved. I can totally see how you'd find the bass pretty easy. Remain blessed my friend.
