Jordan, I have a story about Red Fox. I met him on the Atlantic City Boardwalk back right before he died (around 1990). He was walking down the boardwalk with two oriental girls, one on each arm. I told my husband that is Red Fox in front of us! I stopped him and introduced myself and told him "how wonderful it is to meet you Mr. Fox". He said, nice to meet you too young lady! I was just thrilled. He smiled and kept on walking with a big smile! It was a wonderful experience! I was thrilled! I will never forget his face! So sweet!

I find it incredibly sad that Red Foxx was so broke that his widow couldn’t even bury him. I loved that Eddie Murphy stepped in and said he would pay for the entire funeral. He told his wife to pick the best for him. Tells you how much his influence reached. 🖤

I had a close encounter with Mr. Leach in Vegas. This is when Rod Stewart had a residency at Caesars Palace. I was waiting for the show to begin when I saw Mr. Leach walk-in to find his seat. He had on his arm, a very young, and I mean, Young, female companion. He lived the caviar dreams and champagne wishes to the full.

Robin Leach had that magical voice! Sanford and Son has to be my favorite show. Love my Fred Redd!! Proud that Eddie paid for his memorial. But now I want to go watch Some Like it Hot. That is one of my favorite old movies.

Robin Leach I feel hosted the way more refined version of MTV Cribs. I have watched old episodes of Lifestyles on KZbin. I am 35 years old so I actually remember him best from Troop Beverly Hills. He lived a neat life. His particular British accent and joyful voice will always be memorable.

This was a nice vlog honoring these 3 great men. I grew up watching Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous & Sanford & Sons faithfully. Brought back a lot of memories.They all pushed the limits in their individual careers but that is what made they so great! Thanks for sharing Jordan & Katie.💕

When the IRS came into his home and confronted him about his taxes they walked over and took the gold bracelet right off of his wrist
@jameshepburn46312 ай бұрын
Despite his often high earnings, Redd didn’t meet his tax obligations. From what I’ve read, the IRS offered him a variety of settlement and payment plan options all of which he claimed unable to do. Yet he owned (among other things) a gold bracelet. He probably thought the IRS couldn’t take it off his wrist but they can with a tax court order. Why he thought income tax didn’t apply to him is the question. Redd’s broke ending is eerily similar to Sammy Davis Jr’s.

It is nice that Sanford and Son did so well, usually shows based on British shows don't do well in the US. Yes the British show was Steptoe and Son. All in the family was based on Death us do part, a funny show though not as funny as the British show.
