►About the Game -
Several students have gone missing at Gravewood High but none of the adults seem to have noticed. The school is a trap and your task is to get out of it. But there are two problems. One, the building has turned into a deadly labyrinth that constantly shifts and changes. Two, you are being chased by the Teacher - a crazed overlord of this place.
Dynamic environment
The school’s layout changes every time you get caught and the interior can be destroyed by both the player and the Teacher, creating a tense and unique adventure.
Tricky opponent
As the game progresses, the Teacher transforms physically and develops new abilities, becoming smarter and much more dangerous.
Simply hiding is not enough. In order to win, you must outwit the Teacher by finding and destroying objects that he holds dear or by luring him into traps.
An elaborate mystery spanning centuries
The game’s plot plunges you into the atmosphere of several iconic periods of history - from the wild 80s to the American Civil War.

It's been said so many times before, but I have to say it again. This game reminds me of what Hello Neighbor was supposed to be before the developers turned it into KZbin bait. Gravewood High has a lot of promise, so I hope it turns into a really good game!

What a polished and enjoyable alpha(!!!) ! And finally, a game up to the speed of your quick thinking, too! I really liked how when you did your 'fade back (or down, or up) and duck in a hole' move (as opposed to dashing for a locker, for example), that path was available to you. I really liked that the game was so 'transparent' in the broad strokes of telling you explicitly what your goals were, but at the same time so subtle, relying on the player's own methodology to accomplish them -- and providing support without 'judgement' for however you might choose to handle any given goal or obstacle. Sound effects/music were pretty creepy, and I liked the sound cues for when Pumpkin Head was in the area but hadn't seen you, as opposed to the one when you were directly in danger. I also felt that he had a reasonable detection AI, not too strict, but more or less what one's experience as a human would lead one to expect. It was great that even so early in development there were cool touches like the cake, the prisoner calendar (?) and the skeletons (the ones bricked in the wall were quite alarming), though those last may disappear with the Halloween decorations (if those do go away; kinda hope they don't). Overall, I found it both easy-going and scary at the same time, which was nice for a change. Looking forward to Alpha 3! Thanks, CJU!

I have a slight suspicion that school is actually the Oldest House from Control. Just on vacation. A nice, not very spooky, game with an unlinear structure. Very relaxing. I could watch next attempt in the future.

This is very cool and I would love to see you play this with online friends when this is fully released. It's pretty forgiving with supplies EVERYWHERE so you're never too far from getting stuck. The puzzles were pretty good. Also be cool if it's like 5 player-co-op and fifth player can be the teacher.

From a plot perspective, if the teacher can't move through the vents and secret passages, it begs the question of "who set those helpful blacklight directions and hidden clues" and "why is the teacher hiding orbs in places he would never be able to retrieve them from"? I'm curious if in the full version you'll meet someone or something that's actively trying to help you escape, and if it'll lead to a bigger plot~ Also, is the teacher really the bad guy? I mean, if he can't even make it to his own lair because it's only accessible through vents and tiny passages he can't go through, then is it really his lair?

40:04 This is the proof that no matter how bad and evil your teacher is. Whatever he's done to you. Maybe he's ignored your request all this time. Maybe you're doing bad things like destroying the walls, unscrewing vents, and exploding science props. It might not be directly but he's still kind enough to give you what you wanted indirectly.... But oh well.. This is just a game real teachers most likely aren't the same

the environment reminds me of last year:the nightmare game, this game is quite good, the orbs and stuff doesn't make sense but I find it enjoyable and is interested on what it would end up on it's full release

The game Hide And Shriek is set in a school and has orbs, too. Idk if it's the same devs or not. And I really liked the H2O Delirious easter egg, but no teddy bears? lol. There's a Kubz Scout easter egg, too, and probably a few more we didn't see.
