I hope you had a good crowd. Four years ago we had 80 visitors to our door. Last year was 30. Last night was only seven.

We probably broke 200 count. but that is down by about a third. I don't know if it was being a Monday or the threat of rain... who knows. It's crazy that you dropped by a factor of 11 in just 4 years!

That looks soooo good and cool! I am glad to see what I could of it! But I'll bet being there in person would be so much better as the video in low light never gives any haunt justice. For example, when I set up my haunt, I realized when the sun went down I needed more ambient lighting to make my props "pop"... I don't think all the props were as visible as I would like. Also, People didn't follow my flow or they walked past the prop before if could cycle it's show.

Thank you! yeah... low light video still doesn't capture the experience. don't tell anyone, but I cheated... having run out of props for the yard, we left the area blank around the projection screen hoping it distracts from the fact there were no decorations there. The train layout was bigger than I anticipated.

As usual.. your Halloween builds are phenomenal! What is the type of train that you use?
@intocoasters2 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much!! The train is the GP7 Lowrider set from Lawntracks with an extra bench car and about 80' of extra track (making the oval 40' longer). They have been awesome to work with. And no, I am not sponsored or affiliated in any way with them. Just a fan of the train. LOL Oh! The train is 48-volts. I use 2 12-volt deep cycle marine grade batteries.

This year was my first participating in Eric's fun. It was truly a blast and the video does not do it justice. I was amazed at the number of people who came through, all complimentary and looking forward to next year. Eric thinks, talks, eats & sleeps this stuff. He's always open to our thoughts and opinions and makes all who participate feel like we are truly a part. Eric is a good friend and a visionary. He's passionate and tireless. I'm glad to call him my friend!

So unless i missed it, is there any chance you can do a video talking about how you learned all this, where you get parts/info, and just about you? It's all super impressive!
