Vanishing Point trivia: at the end, just before the crash and explosion, the Challenger was replaced with an earlier model Camaro. Hindsight has proven the director correct, though, if the Challenger(s) still exist; an R/T 440 in excellent condition is now worth 6 figures. But what's another dead Camaro?

Dont bother, they were crushed unfortunately after being sold at a junkyard in 71, according to first hand reports here in the US from someone going to that auction after filimg had wrapped, as Remember Vanishing point was a failure till it got big in the UK, and then re released here in the states, and the records of what cars exactly were used, including a 383 and a 440, were destroyed in a fire sometime in the mid 70's, so even if one did escape the crusher, their all long since gone and NO HEMI's were used, given well your in the desert, and if you select the hemi, care to guess what key option gets deleted from the car when you do that AIR CON as if we know where the Bullitt mustang is, you would think we would have found them by now, a far better thing to track down and figure out what happened to what however would be the 440 charger from that movie, or even Dirty marry Crazy larry although apparently someones already found that one and its had replacement parts put on to fix the front end damage from one of the other cars that doesnt match so it does look legit, and to think Rapid Yellow on the New corvette is damn near a perfect match for that color to boot too. and your replica there doesnt have the bumper guards, or the agricultural dodge script on them also the Stundriver was the same guy who worked on smokey and the bandit and against all odds, and was noted as a very yup, and nope type guy when asked what he could do with it by Barry Newman himself as it turns out we've all been watching the same stuntdriver for over 40 years slam firebirds and challengers around this whole damn time and Newman himself even noted the cars just werent ever ment to take that abuse, tying into the credibility of their destruction even more sadly

HEY MARK!! I have to know how You feel about the OG Challenger Handling,VS The Marriage of Today's tech In the OG's! VS The New Challengers Handling without any Mods!?!? I Personally prefere the Old Skool stuff and it's original feel,as I think you do as well! I love the feel and the ability original has.. to really live,love and drive to master! But,Does a newer Challenger handle so much better than a 1st generation with all the after market stuff on the OG's??! Plus,how does old skool with new stuff feel in comparison??! 3 choices question I guess!? Old original skool,old original with modern upgrade,new stock VS The original Og's with or without mods. What's your best combo nor direct original,from the 3 I chose to debate?! We know the new handles better,but without having your tried and true knowledge to have handled all,what's the Real funnest to Drive,FOR You as Well as Most Real Og's that grew up with the OG Mopars?!?!

It’s been done on another channel, “NICK’S GARAGE” based in Montreal The owner of the garage is said “Nick” and he rebuilt from scratch his older collection. I’ve been there 2 times and picked up some stickers and couple of BB caps.
