Amrullah Saleh is banking on the son of Ahmed Shah Masood but he can not help. Since many of the ousted Afghan Government members have fled to Pakistan, now Pakistanis have politicians from both sides in their favor i.e. the Ghani side and the Taliban side. Amrullah Saleh is a staunch enemy of Pakistan, would not be able to get support from anywhere.

Being a Indian, i can say with confident that real afghanis can never be conquered by force. During colonial rule in india, british empire tried its best to conquer afghan in successive tactical moves and wars but they were the afghans, who laughed last. ...They never bow down to their enemies and I can sense dejavu here.....AMRULLAH SALEH will appear victorious at d end!

It was mostly thr corruption and mismanagement that led to their fall. People are not as*holes that they will protest and run from taliban while supporting them.

Besides they are never that motivated to defend themselves like Indian army then there's issues with American equipment. There's no experience within Afghan army fighting war. Then ran away from Pakistan army as we the Pakistan army hunted them down when North West Pakistan occupied as there were not much patrol down Durand line.
