But when Americans are bombing innocent Iraqis or letting innocent Afghans starve through sanctions and through taking away their assets, it's just "serves them right." I'm half-Chinese half-European and lived half my life in China. It's only after I came to live full-time in Europe that I fully understood that Western people do NOT think of everybody else as equal humans. They like to preach, but the rest of the world is just a concept to them, there to make them feel better about themselves. When shit hits the fan they're quicker than anybody to abandon everybody else. I saw seen this happen when the US denied India the raw materials it needed to manufacture vaccines, when US and Europe started hoarding enough vaccines to vaccinate every one of their citizens several times over while Africans were pleading to at least allow them to produce generics. I also realized this through the examples in the Middle-East. On the matter of global warming, when China decided to opt out of talks, they turned like hyenas against India instead to blame for 'failed talks', even though India's per capita C02 emissions is much lower than developed countries, even though India is making HUGE progress on clean energy, even though India said it could accept the conditions if the West would provide assistance or technology (oh so if it involves money now, Then the West stops caring). The people of India need energy to live, too. Perhaps these countries also think that Indians only deserve to eat a fraction of the food that Western people do, too? Because recently, they even criticized India for trying to stabilize food prices within its borders. It's exactly as that person said: they think their problems are the world's problems, but the world's problems are not their problem.

The US has its own share of problems to sort out but that doesn't mean it cannot observe and report on other nation's problems. I strongly feel that the US should bring about a change in the education system. More people need to be made aware of the existence of mental trauma that arises out of actions of individuals and appropriate actions should be taken to make sure that children suffering from such trauma are given proper care. A more friendly and inclusive system should be adopted to make everyone feel loved and not left out. If you analyse then you’ll know that most of these school shooters are young teens who suffered bullying at the hands of their peers or parents or teachers etc and took such idiotic measures. It’s high time for the US to bring about a change. The children of your country deserve better.
