For the help of your students......LIGO mein laser use hota hai. Do taraf, ye laser failti hai with the help of partial mirror. Ab dono arm ke distance mein koi difference ata hai toh waha phase difference aayega! Aur Interference pattern mein changes dikhai denge in the detector. Isko koi analogous sound mein bhi badla ja sakta hai! I hope this helps!

Nero Chaos hey...suppose sun get vanished at once....what would happen to next.... gravitational pull would be vanished first or sunlight would reach first?? at earth?? tell me?? and yeah from the -general- special theory of relativity, nothing is faster than light. but it was published in 1905. I'm talking about special not general. and there are millions of hypothesis over these sensitive questions. you follow Einstein that's good...but somewhere I don't...he was wrong in quantum physics about Schrodinger's wave and quarks.

Mustaque Hassan it is the meta particle of quantum field which travel faster than light. but we have not observed it yet. suppose, there's expansion of universe where on the edge of the universe you would see some meta particles expanding faster than light. that is the particles came first after big bang. but it is hypothetical particle. we have not observed yet.

Isiliye LIGO bana hai to detect the wave..

As nothing is quicker than speed of light in space hence gravitational waves are less quicker than light hence if two stars are colliding than the image of their collision will get to us first and afterwards the gravitational waves will reach us hence how we are going to see them colliding
