The lever arm comparison is skewed because the length of lever should be equal to the length of your pendulum pump. If you shortened your lever, you would find it difficult to pump correct?

How do you keep the pendulum moving when it begins to slow down. Do you have a power assist electro magnetic pushing it on the way down? Or do you move the pendulum by hand?

Well seeing that it goes in and out in 180 degrees , I conclude that you have a swash plate in there. I think that it is a straight direct shaft with the mechanical advantage coming from the lever you hold in your hand. The concept is good, in that there is a little force applied for a long time, energy stored in a pendulum while the rate of change of pumping is zero at he ends , the rotary velocity is beefed up stored to be used an instant later on. There is an advantage in the pendulum that you can reduce the stroke if one desires so but if you drive the pendulum above and below its resonating frequency one would need energy to drive the pendulum, so it is imperative to keep it at resonance . I wonder if one uses two pendulums at 180 degrees so that one has a flywheel where the resonance would be cancelled and one can drive it at any speed . One still needs to accelerate the flywheel at certain phases in the revolution, for it slows down on load. I have to think more about this one as I just said what came to mind at the moment.

the different is on speed and energy efficiency, eg some heavy machine push by man power 5% eficiency and become 20 rpm, with pendulum or flywheel 90% efficiency can be avaliable, without loosing speed but increasing on speed
