Composer Steven Price had only done a few relatively minor soundtracks prior to this. Boy, did they spot him and grab him by the ears to come up with this one. He got an Oscar for this, his first 'major' film soundtrack. Fully deserved.

Saw the movie three times, IMAX, 3D and 2D. It was the movie score that placed this into another dimension. I was holding onto the arms of the seat I was sitting in when I sat through the ending. Her voice brought me home.

If I were in that audience, I would stand up and applaud like deaf folks do - wave hands. Not interrupt, but silently applaud all the way through. Simply stunning. My understanding is that deaf folks can still feel the vibration of music. I hope they feel this one. Off the scale.

I could tell how nervous you were at the end, you threw yourself at that last note, and started with a slight vibrato, but was fighting a little as you held it. Relax and open, it's all good.
