Composer Steven Price had only done a few relatively minor soundtracks prior to this. Boy, did they spot him and grab him by the ears to come up with this one. He got an Oscar for this, his first 'major' film soundtrack. Fully deserved.

Saw the movie three times, IMAX, 3D and 2D. It was the movie score that placed this into another dimension. I was holding onto the arms of the seat I was sitting in when I sat through the ending. Her voice brought me home.
