These guys didn't get enough acclaim because they are so closely matched to NIN. Shame too, because i really dig them more than NIN. I'm not really into industrial but these guys ROCK PERIOD!

43 years old. Sitting in a hotel room while my wife gets ready to go out. She's doing something (I'm not paying attention) but she says "It's not enough"... #coreMemoryUnlocked How in the holy FK did I forget about this banger of an album? There's not a single bad song on it. Every last one of the tracks are all completely 90's Industrial Gold. Now I've got in on repeat every day.

I saw Gravity Kills every time they came through Springfield. This was back in the late 90s and early 2000s when I was in college and was a die hard fan. Now I'm in my 40s and I hadn't thought about them for probably 15 yrs until a conversation today. Gave this album a listen again and I love it as much today as I did then.

I love the thrill, I love the scene Imagine you in the white light So beautiful, you watch me bleed You're stabbing me from inside now Kneel down and tell me about your world Tell me something that I don't know You know nothing about the world around you broken in two (It's not enough) speaking the truth (It's not enough) watching me bleed (It's not enough) torn in between (It's not enough) I'm watching you, distorted view So beautiful in the white light It's make believe, all that you see It's haunting you from inside now Kneel down and tell me about your world Show me something inside your world You know nothing about the world around you broken in two (It's not enough) speaking the truth (It's not enough) watching me bleed (It's not enough) torn in between (It's not enough) Sometimes in me, you are the seed A dying need in the white light The simple truth, it speaks to me It's screaming out from inside now Kneel down and tell me about your world Tell me something that I don't know You know nothing about the world around you broken in two (It's not enough) speaking the truth (It's not enough) watching me bleed (It's not enough) torn in between broken in two (It's not enough) speaking the truth (It's not enough) watching me bleed (It's not enough) torn in between (It's not enough)

That's because of people like you I don't like youtube... You don't like Gravity Kills? Alright! But why do you come here to tell ridiculous things? Gravity Kills is a NIN rip-off? Are you serious? I think you've NEVER listened to NIN to tell something like this, HAHAHAHA. (please note I don't need an answer, I won't read it, I wasted enough time with you.)
@hansel739 жыл бұрын
U are totally incorrect. These guys absolutely jumped on the Pretty Hate Machine - Broken bandwagon, for fuck's sake they even signed to TVT records so they could be near Trent Reznor. They were really bad carbon-copies . . . I know, I HAD THE FUCKIN ALBUM --it was terrible!!
@hansel739 жыл бұрын
That's where you're wrong. . . . Trent Reznor kicked open the doors for industrial-sounding music and brought it to untold masses (with the help of Mtv), and virtually every crap-industrial, hard synthezier band after PHM, for the next five to ten years, tried to mimic his style and sound. God Lives Underwater, Gravity Kills, Stabbing Westward, et al. none of them had any staying power. You know why? Because they weren't original . . . that's what happens when you try to re-appropriate someone else's talent to your own band. You might get away with it for one album. And I'm not saying Trent Reznor surpasses Gary Numan or that he invented anything in music. Just that he was the right man at the right time with the right kind of sound and he had an awful lot of imitators, Gravity Kills included.
