If it's available to everyone then the value of it degraded... you have to earn something with hardwork... law of karma... if you make available all the IIT level education to comman public then no one will invest themselves to prepare for it... it's not the IIT education, it's actually a preparation process that makes them special...

I am now in my 30s. Looking back now it really doesn't matter which college you went. It's true that IIT will open opportunities earlier but anyone who is focused and hardworking will eventually reach where they deserve to be. Parents push because they are afraid about life uncertainties. Focus on learning, being happy and to be honest that all matters. My husband is very nice and supportive but rest of house was toxic and manipulating. Now I am doing good in life. Try new things and I found that I am capable of so many things. The only thing that was stopping me was me myself. Now I teach my daughter to do what you actually want and don’t give up on anything without trying even if you feel scared. My JEE story is it was all self inflicted. My parents were like "you don't need to get through all that. Non IIT engineers are also engineers, you can navigate life without an IIT degree too" but I was so so so stubborn. I was if not IIT then nothing. And coaching centers also add into this fuel. They would say stuff like "you have potential but you're not putting enough hardwork" so I used to study study study to the point it affected my health. My parents wanted me to drop from IIT attempts End of the story was I was very close to cracking IIT but couldn't. My parents were AGAINST drop year. Forced me to take a break & slowly even I was able to see my own toxicity. I accepted I'm not IIT material & that's okay I'm not some lower human just cuz I didn't craxk IIT Fast forward 10+ yrs, I did engineering from local college, I'm working in an MNC with a very good salary

Absolutely loved the insightful and often from the perspective of sociology that Biswa and Varun talked abt this issue. Loved Biswa's passion for his strong opinions and the way he expressed them. Segment where Varun talked abt his trauma being motivated more by a need to tackle bullying than prior love for comedy was really great too. Have a feeling Abhishek can do well in writing if he instills them with his different experience of life.

I’m in my 12th and the fact that my mentality is exactly the same that if it happens it must happen in engineering otherwise i’ll literally get admitted to ghar ke samne jo bhi uni dekhe usme ghuske to mein journalism and mass communication padhne wali hu. mujhe kuch nahi pata. wish me luck, varun grover. this generation is deeply indebted to your work- your lyrical composition, your poetry, your comedic writing, and your scriptwriting. a true inspiration.
