Having the ability of exit and re entry on a moving airborne platform (C130 or helicopter) would be a game changer. Would allow for multiple lay up positions being acheived as opposed to single drop of point or being done in series by helicopter.

Hope in the future a Lower Exo-Skeleton is incorporated so the body has a more relaxed position in flight, plus it can absorb some of the landing energy. If the thrusters were later placed on robotic mounts with gyros and stabilization software leaves the Arms are free to engage the enemy.
@RussianBotLvl2 жыл бұрын
You would also need software for stabilization. Seeing SpaceX rockets makes this look very possible in the near future.

@IndyHelis the biggest difference is that these here are controlled with the body and not electracally with a joystick. and that removes the biggest problem of the old versions. you can easily get your control back in turbulent conditions when you have good enough body control and strength. that is almost impossible with the other method to do and that is why it is that dangerous.
@dovos85723 жыл бұрын
@IndyHelis he has two big joysticks in his hands... and how the... does he want to controll turbulences with his thing?... he needs clear days without wind to fly stable
@dovos85723 жыл бұрын
and it litterally is the reason why he falls into the water at the end... he has almost no controll with his version. he can't put thrust sideways one bit. so as soon as he gets sideways his controll gone.
@JinrokudaGod3 жыл бұрын
@@dovos8572 Have you not seen the CEO use this thing these examples your are seeing are trainee’s he clearly didn’t need days without wind once you’re able to fly it professional
@dovos85723 жыл бұрын
@@JinrokudaGod for the huys of gravity the wind doesn't matter but for the mixed fuel jatpacks it does matter because you can't stabilize yourself easily after getting rotated to the side because you can't control the direction of the thrust enough to get it underneave yourself again.

Why, it’s near enough uninsurable, where’s the commercial value🤷🏻♂️. defence technology is moving away from the man in the field, Boston dynamics for one example have already engaged ‘spot’ in mine sweeping roles (it’s robotic dog)…. Yeah It’s a bit of fun to fly around in a jet pack I’ll concede that but long term…. There’s really not much future for it.. it breaches nearly every noise regulation, the insurance companies will have a field day gauging prices for cover, there’s no commercial underwriting of flight training and licensing (as a rich boys toy is there sufficient volume 😬)…. It’s got a very long way to go and the french hover board version is already about a decade further down that road, I believe they’ve already got a program in place (and because it’s a hands free operation the soldier can carry arms and ‘go in hot’) we don’t known either if there’s susceptibility to brown noise either, no point sending in a soldier if they can be picked off simply by pointing a high powered speaker at them as the 💩 themselves while in flight

The fact that these lads seemed to perfect these new , alien and difficult skills sets in difficult conditions in such a short space of time speaks volumes to the UKSF Selction process and the type of individuals it seeks and produces. Physical and mental roustness aside, SF guys need to have the ability to absorb complex information quickly and then apply it. The thinking solider indeed! It looks rather intuitive to me. I think you just have to get to a point where you're not overthinking it. It's like riding a motorcycle. Practically, you are constantly making a complex series of dynamic movements and process but these become intrinsic and subconscious with a little practice.

This seems to make engaging enemies from the air impossible. Even in the boarding video, it still required putting away the thrusters to pull out a gun once landed. I wonder if there's any possibility of building firearms directly into the arm thrusters, or how accurate they would be.

I wonder if you could make something similar but for hands-free flying. It's definitely possible with a good flight AI, but, there are definitely some questions for the method of control. Maybe body position and posture could be the control method? Neuralink tech could be an amazing method of control when the tech advances enough. Would love to see this tech someday. Also, what if you add a powered exoskeleton for this, to allow an auto-hover functionality to quickly put down the controls to use your hands. The exoskeleton could also help with giving more strength to maneuvers. Along with taking the weight off the arms as well. I believe this would be an awesome modification.

Sometimes KZbin can be a good open-source intelligence platform! Whatever the merits of this system, is the UKSF directorate aware this footage is in the public domain?
