Many governments take that right away from people, so they can take other rights away from them. An unarmed public has ALWAYS been victims to their own government. EVERY sane adult person on this planet should own a gun and be properly trained in how to use it.

For US, citizens only. And, only the formally registered/known weapons. Triple that (at least) for an actual number. And yes, ammo for all except the antiques...but not all the antiques.

I'm guessing in total with everyone, cos there is no way China has that much with its civilians. Total control by the government will not let its citizens strap. Fuck even their regular police don't carry. Australia also, with its strict gun laws and the surrendering of firearms from the public I doubt over 3m. This list is bogus if it's stating civilians statistics only. America is understandable if that was civilians only though 🤣 if they included military/police/ other sector of defence then maybe they'll be in the billions! hahahah
