Great vid! I like how you use a spatula to apply the color, LoL! It's way easier than using a brush, as far as I'm concerned. I've usually just ended up scooping globs up with my fingers and applying it! And option for this is to use half and half 050 and T18, if you want to go with a lighter grey/silver color, or even two bottles of T18 and half a bottle of 050. The 050 will help get rid of the orangey/brassy parts and the T18 will get rid of the yellow, leaving you with a nice, light silver!

Looks beautiful! I have brown hair with blonde highlights, can I use the Wella 050 to use for gray, silver highlights on my hair?
@kathyo94205 жыл бұрын
The Wella 050 isn't a toner. It's an additive you add to a toner to reduce the brassiness and warm tones. And there's no reason you needed two bottles of it. It's a shampoo based product, and 1 oz of toner to 2oz of 20 v developer would have been sufficient for you. As for the cooling violet, you only need 2-4 capfuls added to a complete toner mixture. And for faster application, use a bottle. It's much easier!
@naulypocket5 жыл бұрын
I've used the suggested method, but for my amount of hair and to achieve this level darkness of grey, this is the best way to do it, my hairdresser of 12 years suggested this ratio, but thank you for the thought but I do my method for a reason, and I also do not like bottles I find they dont work well for me, I usually use my brush but, my cats knocked it behind my fridge and I couldnt find it till I moved!

@naulypocket6 жыл бұрын
Santino Arvizu because my natural hair color is naturally dirty blonde the bleach doesnt need to stay on my hair long, meaning its not so harsh on my hair. So if that's the case for you, you can do that. If you have darker hair, I would beach it, and purple shampoo it for a few days, and then do the 050 process for the BEST result. Yeah, that was my issue! I wanted a cool blonde tone, but I just was not getting it with bleach. But, the brand I am using you can get it at www.sallybeauty.com (very good price). If you are struggling keeping it vibrant, try using the T14 in the Wella brand, you might need a brighter/lighter toner! Pravana is an amazing brand, but if I do say so myself it fades much faster than the Wella. If you need any help or any more advice feel free to contact me through my twitter! @Naulalynn! I wish I did, but sadly the most you could do is use purple shampoo to silver up, your silver highlights. But, these toners arent super damaging, more or less just drying which can be fixed with good conditioner, this uses developer, and as do most products, the only option I could really think of is a purple shampoo to tone it up some, maybe give that a shot? 😊 thanks for stopping in!

This is suppose to be a dark ashy grey, it isnt really the silver look, so you didnt do anything wrong, but I would suggest T18 if you want a silvery blonde. Aicha Kay you CAN, however though, take into consideration the higher it is, the MORE its going to open the hair shaft, so I can benefit you if you have super thick hair, but I recommend you use a 20 developer, and bleach multiple times, OVER time though, this can be damaging so make sure you go light slowly, my hair is already light so I only needed to lighten it once. So, yes you can, but I recommend you just use the 20 twice, over the course of a few weeks. 😊 I hope this was helpful if not feel free to contact me on my social medias listed below! MUCH LOVE ❤

@naulypocket5 жыл бұрын
This is super temporary because its a toner, so in the end you are left with a cool blonde typically if you bleach well, and no there is an absolute difference. Not all color is permanent which is why after a few weeks it looses some vibrancy! So they arent scamming you, most of the time you get what you pay for. Rare cases some salons illegally swap products for cheaper, and thats what is typically done if they want to break rules.
