Joint Operations typhoon rising from early 2000s is still the only game i have ever seen to do low magnifications sights properly when you aim.

5:36 this is how i feel when i watch you play Tarkov. Lot of the time i can't see what you see. Viewing and playing is very different perspective.

They’re going super realistic for this game! I love how the Red dot you can see the red hue that you get from lights reflecting off of it. And even when ADSing you can sometimes see the emitter when indoors reflecting back on you. The reason it’s hard to see is because a red dot with no magnification is supposed to be used to superimpose the dot on the target which is hard to portray in video games because you don’t have two eyes like in real life. But there will most definitely be red dot +magnifier combos like you mentioned I would guess. CT is combat tourniquet by the way. Also O- blood type is universal which is what medics would be carrying for blood transfusions like that.

1:50 it’s hard to replicate what a red dot sight does irl in a video game. You look with both eyes open and your brain imposes the red dot onto the target irl. It doesn’t look like trying to look through one eye like a magnified optic.

lol the comments on the breathing. Coming from active duty and lots of field time, running around in kit will cause an increase in breathing lol. Even just a plate carrier and kevlar and rifle. Tactically doing exterior movement and multiple room entry movements takes a lot of energy. I like the accuracy the definitely took small details seriously.

The game definitely has potential. It still has a lot of fleshing out, though (pun intended.) The movements and person animations are very rigid right now, which might be my biggest gripe. The crouched fast-walk is supposed to aid in aiming stability, but they're so mechanical in the gameplay. The scenery looks great and the ambient sounds are a nice touch, albeit, a bit repetitive if you listen to the bird/insect cadence. I can certainly see controller support in the future based on this gameplay. EFT, but simplified.

Okay love the graphics and ambient sounds, the gunfire sounds a bit flat however and I'm slightly concerned this will be very demanding on pc hardware. Persistent sever, does AI respawn or they gone till next day cycle?

Looking forward to the new arrival of Grey Zone, graphics look great. That would kick ass if they added some more landscape (buildings and such) on the East and West side of the map. Maybe the ability to climb the mountains or something 🤔. Great video 😎

I think a year or two in open beta will produce something special, hopefully. I will probably pick it up early and try to help be a part of that feedback for the devs. I do sincerely hope the transition to console will be good and hopefully not take too long--I am on PC but all my friends are on Xbox, lol.

seems like a good amount of delay in the hit registration. also the amount of eye relief is a bit excessive the need to move the camera a little closer to the optic to reduce the FOV when you ADS.

They need to fix so much. Animations look so robotic, walking sounds so quiet and the guns sound like car doors slamming lol. Hopefully they get all of those finishing touches right. Tarkov has its issues, but god do guns, walking, sprinting etc sound good (when it works).

Honestly, VERY underwhelmed. To be fair no looting was demonstrated so there's still that to see but the gameplay is shows little world interaction, the AI is very botty so no real challenge or threat there. Early view I appreciate that but still very dull and mundane gameplay. Based on what was shown Tarkov is CONSIDERABLY, more immersive in every sense with the exception of the world surroundings being more detailed here. Happy to wait and see what the game has in store once released but right now, I'm not really impressed.
