Grayling & Trout in Tjuonajokk ep 1

In this video I’m fly fishing at Fish Your Dream destination Tjuonajokk. I’m targeting grayling and brown trout together with Mads Kristensen who I work here together with as a guide. Grayling fishing is fantastic this day, anyway I wanted to bring a streamer rod to try for a big brown trout. Waterlevel is quite high in the river and the season is just getting started so it is interesting to see if the fish is still there. Trout fishing is something that most guests forget to try during their visit so my hope during this series of videos is to inspire people to try for it.

I fished there the last time in 1981.. Marvellous grayling fishing, a lot of two pounders and larger. Less trout ( a little depending on which stretch you fish) but they are there and there are species of really good zise. Redbelly in the upper stream between the lakes.
