One of Denver's best Front Range Mountain Climbing resources, near Loveland Pass Colorado, twin 14er Grays and Torreys Peaks have something for everyone. That said, everyone will be there, carpool and get there early! This Adventure takes us up Kelso Ridge, on class 3 climbing, where I run into some friends and share some tips on safe & efficient climbing techniques as we traverse the knife edge! Then we proceed to Torrey's Summit & head down the standard route to the saddle between the peaks where we meet a beautiful family of Mountain Goats, including baby twins! From there, it's up to Grays Peak Summit to enjoy new awesome views of the surrounding area! I truly cover the entire east side of the area complete with DJI drone footage.

You have hands down the best editing of any hiking/climbing channel. As I warm up from the easier Class 1-2s, I am really enjoying all your videos and getting pumped up for something a little tougher.

Thats really appreciated my friend! Spent about 15 hrs in the editing studio for this one, labor of love, thanks for the shoutout!! Best of luck moving up to some class 3, Torreys would be great even if you weren't up for the knife edge honestly, as mentioned in the vid...

Love those summit views--true 360. Great memories of my first 14er, Grays. My son's middle name, Gray, was inspired by it, but Kelso Ridge will always be my favorite way to experience G&T.

Knowing full well, trust me, how popular this 14er destination is I foremost tried to capture the entire experience, and I was lucky to meet a few new/old friends on the way up! That really helped greatly bring out the variety of ways to get this done. Thanks to all!!

Sharing 4K video is not simple, you might be disappointed as well, I don’t have that much but, If you can get me an SD card though I’ll load it up and shoot it back to you? Sorry that took so long, crazy busy. Thank you for the compliments! It was good timing, I was nervous to see you off the ridge when we first met.

I'm from Nebraska and I'm coming to Winter Park with the family next week and I'm debating heading over and trying to bag Grays and Torreys Kelso ridge route early some morning. I tackled Long's last summer with a couple good buddies. Wondering how the exposure and class 3 sections compare. Video sure makes them look pretty gnarly. I know I can always just turn around but if I'm in the area, I want to take advantage and get my 2nd and 3rd 14ers done. I'd be solo on this one.

I'd say both Longs and Kelso ridge on Torries are in not that different, both with solid exposure, Longs on the "ledges" and Kelso on the Knife edge. Same class 3 feel to me. I will say Kelso Ridge is a shorter route so you'll be fresher and less committed. . . Hope the helps!

Thanks so much for the video. I am looking to hike Grays class 1 over to Torres on June 14. Will that be to early in the season as far as snow on the trail?

Of course, you're very welcome! My advice regarding your plan: it's still early in the climbing season. Check trail conditions on reputable sites often before heading out!! Don't be inflexible about the date. Have a cool alternative plan in case of bad conditions or forecasts! Best, Karl 👍

Once again… awesome video, awesome ridge hiking. Love your video editing and the music you incorporate in them. My Wife and I looking to buy us some Mt ebikes, may I ask what model you had in this video and how did you come to choose this one. I have 2 Specialzed full susension Mt Bikes I have had for over 15 years and are still great bikes, but time to upgrade and definitely want to go with an ebike for trail riding. Thank You, Micah

Three years ago I bought the lowest end turbo levo, it was already one year old and used at the bike store for their demo e bike, for 3000 bucks I thought it was a steel, and I wanted the warranty. Turned out to be a great move, I’ve had the motor replaced twice due to a pressure sensor failures. Other than that it’s done really well, the battery still seems good after all this time.
