I just tried to level with balance. Mana feels bad. Asap you get cat form go feral you will skyrocket. You go infinite with cat + human for healing

Yeah. Level 10-19 as druid is just awful but from 20 on you’re golden. In WotLK having travel form at 16 is nice cause there is a lot of running around in Darkshore and Elwynn/Westfall/Redridge

I got the Moonfire glyph asap, basically removes the instant damage but the DoTs are beautiful for leveling. I added on the Insect Swarm glyph too to ham up the dots. Its mostly for mana conversation so I can just staff down things. I do Starfire, moonfire, swarm, starfire, and staff the rest.

as someone who started playing wow in Legion, came up being one of the best resto druids in my discord and someone who LOVES playing as druid, I can say that this class sucks in LK. I'm not prepared for these 2000's mechanics, damn guys you're legends for being able to play like that back in the day, I respect you so much

omen of clarity is so OP when grinding. as a feral if you time it right you can hit a mob with fairie fire before it dies to proc omen of clarity. use the free spell to cast a heal on yourself and get back to the grind. doing this you never have to stop to eat or drink.

Why not infected wounds? The whole point at least in the kitty druid perspective, is you make moves that causes bleed effects on the target

Wish I woulda watched this first. Leveling in wotlk classic now, got my druid to 21 and it has been a truly awful experience. Even at 21 it still sucks complete ass, but I've invested so much time at this point I'm determined to see this not suck.

How far back do you get set on Gold from training your Balance abilities from 1-30 and then having to buy all the previous feral ones once you switch over? Does this delay the mount by a few levels if you never went Balance at all and skipped all of them

I didnt do any quest 1-10. Grind spiders and imps with wrath. Get bear but keep grinding. The quests dont seem to pay off. Keep killing and killing never stop. Then once you get swipe you pull 3-4 mobs and swipe over and over. Thats how im leveling. Plus you can tank in dungeons for gear 👍

Yeah....leveling from 1 to 10 sucks, but feral dps 20 and on to maybe 50 has literally no downtime. Only reason why would stop is to throw a regrowth on yourself and keep pumping.

if you aren't on a fresh server put some SP enchants on your gear and level boomkin, get moonfire and insect swarm glyphs, prehot dot 5-8 mobs roth them down while yo u mele them, heal inervate and do another 5-8. Drink. Rinse and repeat. Add in some pots and it is insane the number of mobs you can kill at a time. Of course this only works if you can afford to put some gold into your toon.

wondering if you ever tried dreamstate/restokin in WOTLK. I know it's not optimal but it seams like a fun build and can heal and or solo with the same gear saving on bag space and gear hunting.

Great guide! I am surprised though in the 60+ talent tree. The energy restore on Tiger's Fury from King of the Jungle seems too good to pass up. I also don't like predatory strikes too much. I think I'll do Mangle at 50, King of the Jungle 51-53, Furor -> Naturalist -> Omen of Clarity 54-64, then continue back in Feral

Just spamming wrath works early on, but I wouldnt waste G on respecs and waters to feed the speed. Feral leveling isnt great, but its not bad. Have two ranged pulls in bear, one in kitty. But I feel the gold is whats hurts. Getting epic at 40 is the best timesaver. I don't think burning 6g before respecs is the way to go for that.

Hey man! I have a resto druid on retail wow and I find it fun, but I think I leveled as feral for the most part. However, Classic WOTLK - just leveled up a druid from 1 to 70. I have maxed honor. My intention was to go boomy into WOTLK.. But I have no idea. I wonder what will be the most fun and what will allow me to solo content if needed or just pretty much have a good time. Context - already have a rogue, DK, and lock all 70 and geared in brutal gear. I am on a major pvp server. Rogue for PVP, DK for PVP/PVE, Lock for PVP/PVE.

The amount of time you have to drink as balance is so bad imo. And feral dmg plus mobility is not bad. I have no problems lvling as feral.

Feral has literally zero downtime once you get cat form at 20. Balance is not recommended till like, level 50+.

on a fresh server that may be the case but if you can put some money into enchants moonkin kills faster than feral and can grind down 5-8 mobs at a time, innervate and no another 5-8 with zero down time. then you drink and eat once and start the cycle again. every once and a while you need a mana pot but it is super smooth and way faster than feral. I have played feral in every expansion so im not mooonkin fanboy, but if you have gold to spend on leveling moonkin is way faster. Even fully enchanted a feral just can't kill 10 mobs in as short of a time as a moonkin can and at 20 mobs it isn't even close

@@TexicG As moonkin lots of mana potions, I bought all spellpower gear and enchanted spellpower. always have weapon oils on, eat stam/spirit food. Buy shoulder and chest heirlooms if you can. You can quest, grind mobs, grind instances. with the changes made in wrath you will level to 70 fast just playing however you have fun. The absolute fastest seems to be solo leveling in instances grinding trash. (never tried it as moonkin though as I find it boring.)

I just got back into wow after not playing for 6 years, and wotlk classic is awesome. I started out as a balance Druid from level 1-16 and it sucked so I switched to feral which I had a level 50 feral Druid back in the day so I was familiar. However, once I hit level 40 I switched to balance to try out Moonkin and I just have to say is wow! Way more fun. I’m currently level 47 and I’m having a blast playing. I can pull 3-5 mobs level 47-50 and destroy them pretty easily, might have to hit a regrowth once as where feral I was constantly having to do a few regrowths if I pulled 2 or 3 mobs..I’m taking my time because I’m enjoying where I’m at. Hurricane is fun to watch! Enjoying the AOE damage! I’m usually number 1 on dps. And what’s cool is I can drop heals as needed or if we lose the healer I can just play that role entirely without changing anything. I don’t have dual spec yet. I need to put a couple talent points in reducing my threat because when I use hurricane I get 2 or 3 mobs on me lol, but that’s where entangling roots come to play or sometimes I have to run towards all the action where the tank is and let his aggression pull the mobs off of me lol. It’s a lot of fun! The rotation is super easy and more relaxed with balance than feral by far.
