You may have to try some socks made by Wrightsock company. They are two layers of material and have a guarantee not to give you blisters or you get your money back. My feet stay cooler in them vs the Darn Tough, Smartwool, or Farm to Feet. The Escape model is what I like for above freezing days.

No it was the shoes, width too narrow. Same with Bushido when I tried those.
