Gray, the name of the game is To The Core but you don't need to go straight down! Circle the planet to extract more resources, because you will get more upgrades and money faster that way, specially since the surface ones are more frail

This is very similar to Galactic Mining Corp, although that game has a lot more elements to it. But at its base, you're trying to get to the white ball core of planets and extract them, building up your drill, your crew, and you ship. It seems like it would be in Gray's wheelhouse.

this reminds me of a silly Flash game called "Diggy", that i've played on Armor Games. in that game, a silly-looking person runs and jumps around using a fancy gun to shoot his way to the center of earth. you need to collect buried treasures to earn money for upgrades.
