I might be reading into this too much, but I swear that slowly Alex/Danny is/are introducing Gray to Touhou gameplay. In this case, it's the graze detail where you can just barely touch the bullet/laser/projectile without actually getting hit. Especially with the "mulch of windmills" and the red magnets that don't turn off at the end [Edit: this was too specific for me to put in a reply to a comment and have it be relevant, if that makes sense, I had to go onto the KZbin app in order to comment it.
