My depression when I watch a Gray video: *temporarily leaves* Also, Gray's videos get better and better, if that's even possible. And the boards Alex and co. make keep getting more and more torturous and I love it. I really hope they make a challenge the Wastelander can beat at some point. I miss the Wastelander Gray at 4:55 : 'What are we mining, my sanity?' Me: 'What sanity? You barely have any sanity left!'

I watch gray for the small changes to the videos.. but 90% of a gray video is formulaic.. the same phrases are in almost every video “alllllright, it’s time to play the only game where this and that, it’s this game” yeetus, not today Satan, “and that means we have a winnnerrrrrrr, today I set out to find out if blah does blah and it blah, anyway stay foxy and much love”.. I can’t say they get better and better.. they are better but you could probably find a video from 4 years ago repeating the same pattern like it’s just a job.. As i said I find enjoyment in the random new elements of his videos.. but I don’t think he breaks the mould, more he occasionally breaks out from the mould.. to each their own I suppose

Gray really hates that NPC that flies that little Cessna. Because that NPC flying that Cessna has run into many of cars that he could of used on several challenges. So if he has a chance and sees the Cessna he always tries to shoot it down. But most time does effectively shoot it down.

I think the reason I can enjoy these ridiculous challenge videos is because I don't have to bear the frustration of having to beat them myself. When I play a game that's too hard for me, even if I eventually win, the frustration I experienced while getting there just completely ruins my victory. That's why I never have the patience to get really good at tough games, they just aren't fun for me, so I don't even know how good I could potentially get if I really tried. Not so for watching Gray beat these ridiculous challenges. Most of the frustration is cut from the video, so while I see some struggling, I don't get flooded with frustration, so I can actually feel good when he finally wins. For people who like really hard games: I get it, you get a significant rush of victory when you eventually beat a challenge. I know from experience that I don't get that feeling. I mean I do, but only when the challenge wasn't too hard and I didn't have to struggle too much to beat it. For you, trying over and over until you win is satisfying. For me, it is not.
