I don’t think so. Copyright is very very important. Being copyrighted bc you play a song with your own transformative interpretation is bad though

@@aname1190 Yeah if you just play the song 1-for-1, it makes sense. But for every instance of that, there are probably a dozen or two claims that are dubious at best, straight-up false at worst. If it MUST stay, then it needs a huge overhaul.

The goal of copyright should be that I can copyright claim someone who uses and doesn't credit a song I make, but that I can't copyright claim someone for someone else's song unless I have proof I'm doing it on their behalf.

Can we appreciate just how well he adapts to the vibe of each version? The switch-up at 9:22 made such a difference, and then at 9:38, the dynamic change suited the mix so well. Also the drumming at 10:10 is phenomenal.
