Rebecca's mom must have been my mom's best friend! My mom, to this day, says, "remember we can't help you". Every time I'm in a hard situation!! All I hear is "remember, we WON'T help you"! I don't have kids because of this. Anyway, I've seen Dune 5 times so far...working towards 10 times so that Denis has the funding to do make Dune Part 2 ASAP!!!!

Weirdly, I would say the sequel to The Shining has FAR more pressure built in than yet another performance of Hamlet. Hamlet is open ended. You could do it naked wearing a tutu speaking to the back of the stage and it would be hailed as innovative and genius. Try and pull off a movie on par with a Kubrik original? Nope and they didn't. It was awful on all levels. So there you go.
