I just bought this same (stealth camper) 1972 Panel bus for $3,000. (complete) I'm going to fix it up a sell it for $6,000. Same color. Any tips on how to lower it like this on a budget? Thanks.

The only tip I can give you as a 1972 vw bus owner is keep the thing, enjoy it and let the thousands of peoples you are going to meet enjoy it as well!

what type of lowering kit did you use? I have a 79' and would like to explore all of the options to lower it besides lowering spindles

Jamie Robison hi man , the van has a split screen front beam with adjusters in , and dropped spindles , the rear has adjustable spring plates . New shorter shocks all round

I heard dropped spindles allow you to maintain steering geometry. My one 11 window has flipped spindles and I hate it, it's lower than my other one and my bay so I have to keep a constant look out to avoid banging my noggin.... Wagenswest in Salem OR sells narrowed front beams. and probably the altered spring plates. Not sure Aaron at Wide Five LLC in Litchfield OH does bay but I had him rebuild my stock king and link pin spindles for my split (he calls me boring stock guy)... Good Luck
