Jimin is just living her life y’all. She is avoiding social media ever since the issue blew up. Due to the hate she got, she always walks with her head low. She can’t exaggerate anything when she didn’t even say anything. She didn’t even do anything to bring Mina down. Mina did that herself because she keep bringing up Jimin every chance she gets so people got sus.

I got this from reddit, but i shared it here because this sums up everything so well: I have been saying this opinion for a long time, but while Mina may have experienced hurt at some point from Jimin, she has LONG stopped being a victim and instead turned herself into a perpetrator. Not only to the AOA members, but to multiple innocent people. None of what this Dispatch report reveals is surprising information, it just comfirms a pattern of horrific, abusive, manipulative, gaslighting, and narcisstic behaviour from Mina. Recall that she power tripped and got a nurse fired in the times of the pandamic all because she didn’t like the nurse’s “tone,” when she herself was being rude and demanding to the nurse. Recall that she proudly went to social media to brag about what she did to that nurse and then backpedalled when people criticized her. Recall that she knowingly went after someone else’s boyfriend, broadcasted their relationship in public without any shame, gaslighted the girlfriend into thinking she was the problem and was delusional for thinking that her boyfriend had cheated on her and that they had already broken up (they had not), straight up lied that the girlfriend’s father had sent her death threats and slandered him as being part of a mafia, and then threatened the boyfriend (who was not innocent as a cheater, but even he somehow got sick of her threats) with suicide if he didn’t respond to her texts. Recall that she has sl*t shamed Jimin MULTIPLE TIMES, going on her live as if exposing a huge secret to say “there is a member who really likes sex. It’s Shin Jimin.” And the one time she mentioned that Jimin brought a “man over for sex,” it actually turned out that they were playing boardgames, had invited Mina to join them, and she declined. Recall that she claimed Jimin was responsible for giving her cervical cancer which is transmitted through sexual intercourse. Hilarious double standards. Recall that she changed her story multiples times on whether the other members were innocent or not. At one point someone asked her what exactly wrong had Seolhyun done to her, and the worst thing Mina could think of was that Seolhyun’s dog had pooped in Seolhyun’s own dorm. Recall that the initial claim she had of FNC and Jimin not letting her meet her father at his deathbed turned out to be false and Mina herself just didn’t want to go. Now look at what has been revealed today: that even kind, patient Choa had given up on Mina listening to her. Some people say that if Choa was the leader, AOA would be safe. But that’s not true. Choa was done with her too and only Jimin, as the leader, had the persistence to try and make Mina listen for the sake of the team. In 10 years, Mina only took vocal lessons 3 times. She caused a comeback to be delayed because she went and had her hair done and refused to come to practice. Any leader would not be able to tolerate a member bringing the whole team down. Any person who works and has an actual job that involves coworkers knows this. It looks like Jimin was strict and tried to get her to play as a team player and Mina took that as an attack. If it was Choa as the leader, she would have just replaced Jimin as the target of Mina’s resentment. People talk about mental illness and sympathize with Mina to ridiculous degrees, but don’t seem to be able to spare an ounce of sympathy for the other members who ALSO are struggling with mental illness. (On that note, Mina has even belittled and made fun of Chanmi’s depression before). “Hurt people hurt people.” That’s not an excuse, that’s an explanation at best. Being mentally ill does not give ANYONE the right to deprive people of their livelihoods (like with the nurse and AOA), ruin relationships and slander others (like with the girlfriend and her father), sl*tshame them (she straight up calls Jimin a wh**e in the texts to her), or hold them hostage with threats of suicide. I have stopped feeling sympathy for Mina, she has just hurt too many people and is set out to destroy lives. She won’t be satisfied until Jimin kills herself. I would say she’s a psychopath but it’s more likely that she is a narcissist who lives in her own world where she is perpetually the victim. If anyone has dealt with a narcissist in their lives before they would know how they completely destroy you from the inside out and make you question your own reality and sanity. I feel sorry for AOA, Jimin, the nurse, the ex girlfriend, and anyone else Mina has harmed. I hope they heal and get their justice one day from the emotional and mental abuse they’ve faced from Mina.

Now her careers over and who knows where she's at or how she's doing. Imo we should stop giving Mina attention. It's why she's doing all this, it's giving her what she wants. @@alex.7937 I mean, Mina is the one that wanted it public. Its fair game now. And she's definitely not innocent. Imo it's a boy who cried wolf situation. How many times can 1 person scream "victim" before you're just like... " alright, this is bs" yk? She's the common denominator in all her issues. Plus you gotta look at it from both sides. On 1 side, a girl is getting slots on shows because of the drama she created. On the other, her career is over and she doesn't know what she did. If you haven't go read those texts, I read every word a few times and its sad to the level jimin was punished by society, for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Like when I say crucify, it's metaphorical but barely. It's almost literal. She essentially doesn't exist anymore, and in those texts jimin talked about wanting to die just to make the world a better place. She saw herself as the problem even with the rest of the members saying she wasnt. But jimin threatened her suicide in private, because she meant it. And we're lucky she's still alive today. Mina on the other hand threatens suicide in public, for the whole world to see. To manipulate people to not say anything against her, (because if they did and she did kill herself, they could be seen as "liable" in korea). She never meant it or she'd be dead right now.

I feel like no matter what someone has done when it comes to just being a jerk to someone or something rude, it's never ok to have thousands of people come after you with death threats and just in general hateful comments. And they've probably have done just as bad or worse, the only difference is that it wasn't caught on film or they're not famous. I can't imagine the level of anxiety it would cause to have that happen to me, I think it would make emotionally strong people suicidal, that's not surprising about Jimin. The public enables bullying despite hiding behind anti-bullying, I just don't dare say anything anymore unless it's a reminder that we don't actually know what's happened because the way people look to get worked up has just gotten disgusting. I think it's unfair to idols who diet and never sleep and take abuse to be as perfect as possible, only to be compared to something that is impossible to become. I think it would be better to ease up on our dear human idols and let them date and rest a little more rather than raise the bar to somehow even more unfair standards, but maybe I'm not the majority. Sort of related I'm reading a manhwa from Naver called Beyond Virtual that actually is about this topic, it's an interesting debate for sure. AI influencers/celebrities are just like cartoons/fictional characters. They can be entertaining and have a large fanbase but still have more in common with SpongeBob SquarePants than IU brand wise. Nonfiction doesn't replace fantasy nor vice versa. I don't get where the "replacement " argument comes in. I follow "fake influencers " for different reasons than I follow real ones. I enjoy documentaries,vlogs, reality shows and biopics for different reasons than I enjoy cartoons so.... its seems more like people's fear of new technology than a actual issue. 🙄 vocaloids already exist and are successful and Japan still has human idols so there already is no such precedent that fake and real can't exist together.

I think the one problem is that it's going to end up just AI idols because they are perfect. Real people at some point may not be able to perform and do what they always wanted to if the industry finds it easier to have AI idol. They also have no life in their eyes that's what's creepy. If they show more emotion maybe people will be more accepting about it. No matter what though it's weird how companies and a lot of people are treating these AIs that only exist on a screen like their real people.

@@kodzukenku again this is incorrect because there are lots of media/music about/focusing humanity, imperfection and "authenticity " (grunge, emo, rock, hip hop, etc). The idea of "Perfect" and "imperfect " come in and out of trend every few years. Basically, everyone is looking for a different "idol" or music to enjoy and many buy from many artists at a time so again humans artists going out of fashion is a nonsensical idea. Again, fictional characters/artists have existed forever and haven't effectively ended actual people being celebrities. Even voice actors/directors/writers/producers/animators are mini celebrities within Fandoms so in a way, AI idols are more of a collective art product of many different people/artists than truly artists themselves.

With the AI group/AI influencers, I have a very solid feeling. Celebrities are popular for their talent and personalities, when they show their raw emotions, that's what allows them to be relatable. Influencer is just a term for people that take photos of themselves looking good. They aren't recognized for talent, ability, personality, etc. No matter how much they fine tune the AI, the emotions will never be raw, the personalities will never be genuine, and the talent will never be real. I think the AI influencer part is good, the more the better actually. When we have a tonne of AI influencers, when little girls scroll through their social media feed regardless of platform they'll understand that the standards for beauty are unrealistic and stop risking causing themselves harm in the name of "becoming pretty". That way the remaining human influencers are probably going to be more focused on for relatability, so perhaps some of them will stop being the human equivalent of a dumpster. The AI group part I see failing, unless it's a similar case as with K/DA. The only reason Aespa succeeded is because they have real life equivalents to each AI character. K/DA are known for their characters however they are also attached to real people with real talent and emotions. In Japan, it's likely to succeed basing assumptions off of Hatsune Miku, however in the West (where a lot of idols are trying to break into nowadays), it'll absolutely flop. The reason Kpop groups are so popular is because they're known to be pretty close to perfect. For the people saying AI groups or influencers would be perfection, they're not really considering at all the limitations on real thoughts, feelings, personality, etc. And no scandals? With the way computers work, there's going to be an error eventually.. That promise is rather hopeful and unrealistic.

Actress: I think that the senior actress should've taken the ring off for the slapping scene. The male actor treating the actress like that is totally unacceptable. She didn't want to be in contact with him outside of work and he should've respected that. It was also totally unacceptable when he would say curse words and other bad/mean stuff to her, and when he threw stuff at her. I think that respect is a 2 way street. Just because someone is older than you or has been in the field longer than you doesn't mean that you should automatically have to respect them. If they don't respect you, don't treat you well then having to always be respectful/kind to them shouldn't be expected. AI Idols: I think that this unfair to actual human idols because they if they aren't always on a diet then they are on one most of the time and most of the time they don't get enough sleep. The only time they have a chance to get enough sleep is on a day off. They also have to deal with being treated harshly, act perfect. An AI won't be able to have the same emotions in a song as a real person and won't have the same raw personality as an actual person. In an article I read online Jae from Day6 said "You will get a lot of things that happen because people want reactions out of you. And those clips go viral. People will spit on you, they will throw things at you, they will hit you if they can. They will do all kinds of things to you. But what do you do? You’re a public figure. You chose this route. The thing you’re gonna hear if you retaliate - ’cause there have been people that retaliated - is, ‘You chose this route. No one else chose it for you. Behave the way you should behave. You’re an idol. You’re supposed to be looked up upon. You don’t make mistakes. You don’t have an opinion. You’re a product." He also mentioned that if an idol were to get slapped they are supposed to just smile and walk away like nothing happened. Those things were something Jae said when he gave a Twitch streamer named CodeMiko a crash course on being a Kpop idol. Idols shouldn't be getting slapped/hit, spit on in the first place, but if it does happen they should be able to do something instead of just having to act like nothing happened.

I hope Mina gets the help she needs. From what I've read Jimin was mean to Mina but only to correct Minas behavior and was trying to keep AOA together. I'm not saying Jimin is innocent but I think a lot of what Jimin did was for the group and as the leader she may have not taken the members feelings into account. I hope this gets cleared up soon and Jimin returns to music scene

My mom may need surgery. She recently found out that she has scoliosis and a bulging disc. Her left leg has been numb for 2 months and if she doesn’t get it under control, it could cause permanent nerve damage in her leg. She’s always had back pain, but never got it checked out because she was more worried about the mental health of my sisters and I. She finally got it checked out after horrific pain and could barely work. She’s a bit worried about the possibility of surgery and doesn’t like the pain meds that she’s on. I feel horrible for her.😔

Mina: I've heard/read a lot about this scandal, including an article that provided a translation of the transcripts released by Dispatch. I think that there a couple of different ways this could be seen/viewed and I'm not quite sure where I stand on the situation. One way this could be viewed is that Jimin hurt Mina with her words, and even though she apologized multiple times, Mina continued to exhibit negative behaviors. Also, it's unknown what those supposed harsh words were, so it could've been Jimin disciplining Mina because she (Jimin) saw it as part of her duty as a leader. When Jimin said whatever words she said, she could've thought that it didn't hurt Mina, but at the time Mina felt hurt by those words. A 2nd way this could be seen is that Jimin and the others were strict with Mina because they felt that Mina was being lazy/not pulling her own weight and Mina lied by making it seem like she was bullied super badly. When I read the translation of the transcripts I saw that Jimin apologized multiple times, but Mina was unsatisfied. I think the reason Mina was unsatisfied is because Jimin said she couldn't recall/remember things. Based on having read the translation of the transcripts I think that the others whether they were in the group or not at that time had to walk on eggshells around Mina. Mina became a perpetrator when she said things that caused the others to receive hate. Seolhyun in particular probably got the most hate. Mina is trying to destroy the careers of the others. According to some comments I've seen on various videos, Mina got a nurse fired because she didn't like the tone of the nurse's voice, but the nurse didn't do anything wrong. One thing mentioned in a video by the channel Everglow - Up is that Mina often skipped dance practices and only went to 3 vocal lessons the entire time she was in the group. One thing mentioned in the same video is that Mina saying she shared a room with Jimin and she (Mina) couldn't sleep because Jimin often had sex with men in the dorm room is a lie. It's a lie because the older members didn't share rooms with the younger members and Jimin was one of the older members. The sex life of the other members is none of Mina's business. The way Mina treated the managers and other staff members is completely unacceptable. In one article I read it was mentioned that someone from the Korea Entertainment Management Association said it was a power trip. This person also said "If it’s necessary for their activities in the entertainment industry, [the celebrity] can request a hospital appointment, but asking your manager to make a hospital appointment for your mother is way outside of their work scope." Mina was clearly mean/abusive/rude to the managers. When I was reading the part of the transcripts that was a translation of conversations between Mina and a manager/staff member it showed that Mina would get angry/irritated for no reason. In one part of the translation 2 managers/staff members were talking about Mina and one of them said that Mina is scary. Mina should stop talking about it and focus on getting professional help. I agree with Grace that the drama should be resolved in private and not be public. Mina is clearly quite unstable and needs professional help, but her mental illness is not a justification for her words/actions towards the managers/staff and other members. I think AOA will disband in either 2022 or 2023. Only Seolhyun, Chanmi, Hyejeong are left and as of when I made this comment their last music video came out in November 2019.

Not surprised coz in entertainment industry there's bound to be bullies, especially in korea where status is everything. It's tough on anyone who wants to chase their idol/acting dreams. In fact, such dreams are so common...and like that AI group, one day u'll get replaced by them too.
@ziab14003 жыл бұрын
What's so good about AI groups?? They won't get tired/stressed/angry about anything, they won't cause any of those relationship/alleged bullying dramas, won't commit any crimes, and definitely won't try suing the companies. And dumb "fans" will definitely like but sadly (for them) probably can't stalk them. That's all. Honestly, I don't like this AI group idea. Imagine wanting to do something you love, but being replaced by robots and not even getting the chance, all because you're human with needs and can make mistakes, do wrong things or try to stand up for yourself against tyrannical companies.

Mixed feeling about AI idols. It’s not a real person so they will have no scandals. But the companies might (cultural scandals,etc). We cannot say that all the idols / public figure are real too. Many of them goes with “persona”. Still, some of sales points of Idol is their relatability (either real or not we don’t know) and the fantasy of ending up with them (even many won’t admit it, many actually use their favorite idol/public figure to fantasize how it will be having a relationship- not necessarily romance with them.) AI might shatter this fantasy. So I still think they won’t be the most popular. I think it might be a good alternative for musician or such though. If they want to only share their works, voice, music production and such, they don’t have to show their face anymore. They could use the AI as their avatar therefore protecting their privacy. This way they can freely date and have their life. That’s if they don’t want the fame and only doing it for the arts.

For people who want a summary of things 1. Mina has been bullying the staff and managers since she first got into fnc,constantly demanding things during their time off (example, at 4am, telling them to make her mom’s dentist appointment) talking to them rudely, accusing them, and getting angry at them for no reason. She would demand them to apologize after she would mistreat them saying it’s their fault she’s upset and crying and depressed. 2. Minas text messages with jimin show that they were actually really close and jimin was sweet to mina, calling her to even check up on her to see how she’s doing , even after mina left the group. months before Mina’s “exposing” jimin, jimin and mina met up and hugged, jimin said I love you, mina said sorry and thank you to her. Even after jimin’s dad passed away she checked up on mina.. 3. The members tried to mediate the situation and hyejeong even told mina to apologize to jimin too but mina blamed everything on jimin. 4. Choa said she gave up on mina cuz she doesn’t listen to anyone and that jimin had to step up. Mina would miss practices, mistreat fans, and abuse staff. Someone had to step up and it was jimin who scolded her as the leader - THIS ISNT BULLYING. The big fight they had was cuz mina ruined their comeback & it was canceled due to her missing all the practices and that’s when they were aggressive with each other + Hyejeong said she is going to go crazy cuz of mina driving her crazy. 5. Mina sent jimin nasty messages attacking jimin’s mom and also insulting her appearances and called her a whore. 6. Jimin apologized cuz choa told her she should as the leader and unni (older) and also to end the drama and calm mina down. Mina exposed and caused the whole drama months after her and jimin reconciled for their big fight just because she was feeling depressed due to not having a job and aoa becoming popular with queendom. She admitted to this. 7. Jimin left the industry not because she was guilty but only because she got so much hate after writing “fiction” + mina threatening suicide + exposing her sex life. Keep in mind, this whole thing happened only 3 months after her dad passed away + jimin was already depressed and taking medication for this.

On other channels I always see the same sponsors all the time (I'm looking at you, skillshare!) and I never found any of them interesting (well except for bright cellar maybe but I don't live in the US so.....that ad is also kinda useless for me). This sponsored product is finally something I wouldn't have found otherwise and actually have a use for with my frequent subluxations and luxations!! Those darn patella subluxations have left me with grade 3 cartilage damage and I work at the airport so I walk a lot (which obviously causes me a lot of pain) so this product sounds like it was made for me~ I can probably even wear it on my knee when I sit at the check-in counter because passengers can't see my legs then anyway. Now I only have to pray that they ship to my country~ Wish me luck and thank you so much for sharing this!!! ❤️

I do believe Mina was bullied and she can talk as much as she wants, but the way she's going about it is not great. Toxic incidents in her life and trauma are turning her into a toxic person herself. If she wants to share what happened to her, cool, but she shouldn't be trying to hurt another as much as she is hurting. Someone needs to change her passwords and keep her off of social media. She needs to go take care of herself and find peace

11:58 the purpose of making an AI group is to test the public's reaction to the realism and to continue improving upon the software. the data and feedback they collect, as well as the software they produce, could be worth a lot of money for tech companies who are interested in this AI. in other words, kpop fans are the unpaid beta testers for deep fake technology. and that's all it is, really, just a computer-generated face. it's entirely likely the people being filmed and photographed (such as rozy) are not the same person all the time. after all, you can superimpose a cgi face on anyone. so it's not that they'll never get old, it's that you can keep putting that same face on other people as the years go on. this has the added benefit of never having to pay any one person huge sums of money for the popularity of that character, when you can instead just pay a standard modeling fee (or 'free exposure' aka nothing at all) to any of the countless up-and-comers willing to do so, and keeping the rest of the profit yourself. as for being immune to controversy, that's pretty easy, just have the account managed by someone who is contractually bound to not do/say anything controversial. anyone can do that.
